I have been hounding my gaming group to double check their orders to see that they are finalized. They all rolled their eyes at me and said they were already finalized. Then today, one of the guys said his "got unlocked and it looks like he can still add funds."

I advised him to finalize ASAP and to probably not add to his order since I am not sure it will get added to his package or if it will just cause confusion.

Did I make the right call?

We have recently locked down the ability to add new funds to the Bones II project for persons not locked in. He will be able to allocate his original pledge amount, but will not be able to add additional anymore.

This was supposed to have been implemented a while back, and wasn't, so a lot of people were lucky that they had more flexibility than they should have.

Post copy/pasted to the group member. Thanks for the reply.

Looks like I'll be in the 13k range of orders out the door even though I was in Wave 1. Oh well.

um, you'll still be in Wave One.  There's not 13,000 orders in front of you.  There's guaranteed to be less than 2,000, since that's the size of the Wave.

First we sort by Wave. Then, within that wave, each order is sorted by Timestamp of When it was Locked In. This WILL NOT match your order number. So being Order #13xxx is 100% irrelevant.

Basically the first order to pull is the Wave 1 with the Oldest timestamp. Then the next, next next, and so on. After 2,000 orders, the oldest Wave 2 timestamp gets printed. Then the next, the next, etc. After 2,499 orders, the Oldest Wave 3 timestamp gets printed. Then the next, etc.

OK thanks. Sorry for the silly, essentially pointless questions.  On that front, Wave 1 was the "Early Bird" right?

One confusion is that there is a backer number on the Kickstarter page and an order number on the pledge manager page. My Backer number is #11807, but I was able to sneak into Wave 3 because someone canceled their order. But the pledge manager lists me as #4612. So there are at least 4000 and at most 4611 customers ahead of me in line.

I'd love to see a picture or ten of all the Bones boxes piled up when you guys get the last container. It was done for KS1, I'm hoping we'll get to see the madness you guys have to deal with  . I don't know how you guys react to the monumental task of sorting and shipping but I know if I worked there and saw what I had to deal with I'd be like "Oh crap" and then I'd run screaming.

However, from the way I am understanding it, NEITHER number matters for fulfillment.  Fulfillment is based on your Wave and the Date/Time stamp on your Pledge Manager Lock-in (something only Reaper can see) which is different than your order number on PM and you KS backer number.

Given how many they expect to do per day though, only your wave really matters.  Pledge manager date/time stamp will only buy/cost you a day or two in either direction.

Wave 2 have 2500 backers (2000 $100 and 500 $1)

So it is a minimum 4501 (Wave 1 have 2001) ahead, but no further than 6499 (wave 3 have 1999).

Edit: I think the day you payed the extra miniatures (Who hasn´t?) could give you a clue.

I, myself, am in first wave and payed on December 16th, 2014.

Pledge number #420, Order #660, but these two are irrelevant to the shipping order.

How about a raffle for fulfillment?!  All 2000 in Wave 1 go into the Bryan Hat and they pick the first...then the second...etc.  Sure it may take days to do this but wouldn't it be fun and exciting to hope you were one of the first few?!

Every day that passes makes the next day more likely to be the start of fulfillment.  Which has been true this whole time but its getting to the point where any particular day has a low 2 digit chance of being the begining of fulfillment.  Those are really good odds that any day now may be THE day.  These are the sorts of thoughts I have.
