I speed paint a lot for tabletop, and this was one of those. I've been using tabletop paints as excuses to work on my NMM and I was pretty happy with the blending on the sword. I was okay with how the shield turned out, and I liked the scales on her scale-mail-dress (or whatever it was supposed to be). Less-so with the banding on the... suspenders, I guess? And I totally lost the bands on her upper arm--the texture for them kind of vanished on the lower side of her arm. Not sure if it was just bad luck with the casting of the mold, or if I used too thick paint. (If I have to ask, it's probably the paint!)

I think I really need to work on my transitions for highly-detailed areas.

I boiled and boiled and boiled and the sword would not straighten. Alas.

I like how you've got a primary color thing going there. She's really vivid, evokes for me fond old memories of reading "Thor" comic books back in the day.

Nicely done. As to your bands on the upper arm, I believe it's a bad cast. Mine was partially there and that was difficult to see when all I had was liner on the bones figure.

This exactly. First thing I thought was she'd make a great superhero.

The hair could use a wash/or to add some more texture.  also hilights and the top and the end, with slightly more shadow between the two.

I like the red and blue of the skirt, and the NNM on the shield and helm especially.

Hey, don't normally do WIPs, so forgive me if I skip steps, but I started working on my gazebo from Bones 4.

Built up a cork base and mounted on some basswood (slightly harder than balsa):

I'm going to be using this as blocking terrain in Kings of War, so I don't really need any interior functionality.

I got a Rivendell vibe from this, so I'm going to load it up with some greenery. First step is covering the rock parts with a gritty paste:

Just left the steps exposed and some edges.

I recently painted this fertility idol from Bones 4. Just for fun.

Technically they are stone statue boobies, but boobies are boobies.

PS: Couldn't find her in the store atm, maybe not released yet?

What's better to start my KS Bones topic than Mr. Bones himself ?

Hello forum family, as I already wrote in the WIP thread I just wanted an Aasimar but don't wanna buy one, so I decided to make my own converting the bones version of the Ghoul Queen and the Angel of Shadows.

And this is the outcome:  Hi-res picture

I really like how she came out, I really hope you'll like her too!
Every c&c and advice is super welcome :)
      Thank you for watching!
