Agreed. After having a package left on my doorstep when I was out of town (and returning 3 days later to find it stolen), and anot her package being left at the apartment of a random neighbor I don't know, I know get pretty much everything delivered to my office.

Looking forward to my Bones arriving at my office next week. Not looking forward to having to resist opening it and sorting through it until I get home.

Depending on the Service used we have Package Stations, and you can select one nearby and have the package delivered there. Then you just have to scan the notice slip from your mailbox and sign on a touchscreen and the corresponding locker opens and you can pick up your package. Very usefull for those of us who can't go to the post office during their office hours.

Yup, we have those too. The postal service has one in town (they generally look like this) and another service, called SwipBox, has installed similar stations in pretty much all supermarket chains belonging to a larger retailer - SwipBox has also made deals with several of the larger shipping companies (DHL Express, TNT etc.), so you can get packages shipped via those companies delivered to a package station instead of to your door.

You can send mail/packages from the stations too.

You get a text message with one or two pin codes, when there's a package for you, and when you punch those in one of the doors open so you can retrieve your package.

All the postal service package stations are numbered... incidentally, the one in my town is number 666.

Must be a European thing.  In the US, so far as I know, post boxes still use 1920-era tech.  Yay, us.

Ha.  My birthday is 6/6/66.

I just worked on a project last year that was enabling that for our shipments. I wasn't entirely clear on how it worked at the receiving end. Pretty cool.

Here UPS does not even ring the doorbell or knock.  Just leave the package and go.

UPS in Calgary doesn't even drive out. They just go to a mysterious database and ship your stuff to someone else with the same name as you.

I should have taken my wife's last name. Glad I moved away.

I might actually get my bones pledge without having to yell at anyone this time.

Maybe I will post a sticker that says "WE'RE HOME ALL THE TIME. RING THE BELL"

I am going to hear a drumroll in my head all this week.

I'm told I have three boxes of bones on their way now. :D

Location : Belgium

Date : 02/21/2015

Local Time : 12:55 A.M.

Activity : Package departed international carrier facility

Late update, and already mentioned in other replies.

Now the main questions are: where to and why did the bones depart the international carrier facility. Was Khanjira looking for a real Belgian beer; or was one of the Maashafs hungry for some chocolate?

I am curious what the largest order was. I am also curious if there were any odd orders (tons more of one mini or something ).

So far i am the smallest order at 2.5 pounds.

Its official I got caught in customs... Its like Pirot says: Eventually the ball will land on red.
