The USA is the only country i know with such a ridiculous education system! While in germany University isnt exactly free like in our scandivian neighbours, I'll have to pay like 300 Dollars per semester ( and about half of that is for my public transportation ticket). My older sister who has studied englisch/psychology and religion with all necassary qualifications to teach in germany, including a scholarship with teaching position (for englisch and german) at US univeristy is still required to make her Dr. in englisch before she is allowed to teach at a US highschool.....

 

So everybody who is fed up with the us education system is more than welcome in europe ;-)

Fulfillment is finally finished! All the little bones on their way to their new owners!

 

Like a lot of other orders here, mine just cleared Canadian Customs (after like a week there...), and I'm sure it'll be a failed delivery to me in no time! Seems it always is... but then I'll go pick it up.

 

Realistically I only ordered like $140 of stuff, so I'm betting the Customs Taxes on it will be a little under $20 (Manitoba). We'll see!

 

Edit: Crap, they're going to go off the price in American arnt they? Even though I bought this when the USD>CAD was much less crazy (back in 2013!). Thats going to be a harder hit I guess... but not crazy? Maybe like $25 in total? We'll see.

When I brought mine over the border, they calculated my taxes on the Canadian equivalent of the USD price on my invoice based on the current exchange rate. So yes - be prepared for that.

Canadian here. My shipment arrived today (9.6 lbs). Cost on delivery was $60 - yikes.

Zonto, what wave are you and whereabouts in Canada are you?  And if you don't feel like going into that much personal detail on the internet I totally get it.  I'm from Coronation, AB, and my package cleared customs on Thursday, according to UPS.  Just want to compare to other Canadians to ballpark when my own package should arrive.

Hey Sabith, no worries. I'm in Ontario (Kitchener, to be specific). UPS shows "Package cleared by foreign customs office" last Friday.

I'm In Fredericton, NB, my package cleared customs last Thursday, and Canada Post attempted delivery today.  I can pick it up after 1pm tomorrow at my local Post Office (after paying $52 in duty).  I was in Wave2.

My wife just got back from the post office.  THEY'RE HERE!  Apparently they were 45 dollars and very heavy.

Got mine today too! Ring at the doorbell about an hour ago (So about 2PM central time, March 2nd 2015, 445 days, or 63 weeks, since the order was paid for).
 
I did not order a ton, as I still haven't painted the mini's I got from the last bones!
 
On a $140 order the Taxes/Duty was $32. Standard GST/PST for Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, plus a $9 handling fee I did not account for initially.

My UPS tracking page still just shows that it cleared Customs last week, so its pretty behind.
Make sure you have a major credit card on hand to pay for the fees (in Canada at least)
