Speaking of the communications game and possible snafus, what kind of wait time are we looking at before being connected with the next available operator getting missing-pieces emails, sent per the guidelines set forth in the most recent update, addressed? Should we expect direct responses to the emails? I know y'all are busy and all, so it helps to know at what point we should consider something other than a long queue is possibly to blame.

Other than telling you your email was received, there is nothing we can do yet. The system is not ready to process these and you are looking at a few more weeks of wait time before processing begins.

Your emails are received, read and in a holding folder waiting until something can be done.

Good to know, thanks.

Is there a cut off time to send the email? I was waiting for a cool down period so Reaper isn't bombarded, but don't want to miss out. ^__^

Not really? I mean, we guarantee our product, but there are sets we may run out of sooner than others, so don't really wait too much longer. Certainly have e-mailed us by the end of the month...

There is no hero worship here. Although you might want to seek membership in the ReaperBryan fan club. Or have a title bestowed upon you by Spacepope Bryan ;-)

And no matter what the followers of ladystorm tell you, ReaperBryan and Spacepope Bryan are not the same people.  I've seen them both in the same room at the same time!

Well I'm happy to report that my package has arrived! Seemed like such a long wait but as always with Reaper it was worth it. Thanks to LadyStorm for pulling my order. Now I'm going to spend the night dry fitting and making sure all the bits are correct!

I've been slowly doing so myself, as free time permits...the only one I have to pick through yet is the core set, in all its super-intimidating glory.

Fun fact: All the loose bits [as in, the ones without a separate sub-baggie] of Expansion 3 fit within the shipping container included in the same.  I can neither confirm nor deny giggling madly in a fit of exhausted easily-amusedness about how meta it was for Reaper to take a bunch of Bones out of a shipping container, so that they may send some to me just so I can stuff a bunch of bones into a shipping container.

Question: If there is an issue in two separate orders, both sent to me, should I send a separate email for each one to keep the emails easy to access?

Also, what if I discover another issue with an order that I've already sent an email about? (my first order was missing Narthrax, which I emailed about already; however, since then, I've discovered that one of my dragon hatchlings has two right hind legs)

In other news: Whee, second and third shipments have arrived (second one for us, and one for a friend)! The small one for the friend was 100% perfect, thank you Aaron (at least, I think it was Aaron; don't have the packing slip anymore)! I was amused to discover that our second order was packed by Bryan, since our first one was too! XD Everything was good except for our big froggy dude having two left arms, and the cap of the Turf Green was a little loose, resulting in a minor amount of paint leakage (long since dried). The paint itself seems to be fine, and it primarily got on the inside of the box; the only bottle that got it bad was the Pale Saffron, so I just peeled off the label, rubbed off the remaining paint, and wrote the item# and paint name back onto the bottle. Problem solved! :)

The minotaur dude looks EVEN MORE AWESOME in person!! Also, the Deva shot up my favorite Bones list to near the top; I attached her to her base with a little poster putty, and she totally looks like she's flying! SO COOL!

Huzzah!

I finally managed to put myself, my wife and my son in the same room with two boxes of BONES.

We had a blast opening and seeing the amazing amount of white happiness.

I didn't do the full inventory yet, as my wife took us to chair shop and dinner before and I was extremely tired from 4 weeks taking care of her (some bacterial infection).

But I am amazed with the fact that many miniatures have detailed bases (with footprints too easily fit).

Very cool. Very, very cool!

and over $75cnd in import later, I have my giant box of bonesium.

worth it. Glad Cav bones got split; it might save me from customs canada next time.

Sadly, the reality check we Canadians got was that, once the US-CAN$ conversion is done, we've all paid our 13-15% on GST/HST + ~9$ service charge for our Bones.

Cross border shipping is a harsh mistress.

And it's still worth it!

Brian, are you guys replacing frozen paint, or just miniature stuff.. I'm good either way, just curious.. so far i think only one bottle was affected

We've always been good about replacing frozen paint before.
This may be the one time I recommend everyone to wait for replacing paints.

Until we get something that looks like spring and above freezing weather.

::(: We Brazilians paid a 60% Tax and $4.00 in handle (and US Dolar is 3.1 to 1 BR Real, it was 2.2..).

But...

::D: Still Worth it! ::D:
