The final painted miniature from the original LTPK 1-5 that I have painted.  While I liked the way the front view turned out, I was less pleased about the rear view.  Over all I'm glad I took the plunge and tried NMM.  I plan to keep working this  I like TMM as well, but I want to have technique better before I go back to TMM.

And here is Tyden, Barbarian of the Shrubery...

I really like it. I can see your questioning the back, the lower highlight of the bikini seems a little odd. That being said, I think she has great skin and hair and the rest of the NMM is great! I feel like if I was pumping out models this good, I might not put them on the table, which is what all mine are for after all. Kind of a Catch-22. Good job.

She looks great! As with the last one, you've really picked up a lot of nuances of the light and shadow that it usually takes a lot longer to learn. And when you go back to TMM, it will just be that much better for the time spent learning those placements.

My only critique is you could've put a bit more variation in the hair overall and more consistent highlights along the ridge of hair in back. Hair is almost like nmm in how it reflects light. But I'm looking for things to say at that point, it's a great job.

edit: hmm, I see what Darc is saying about the backside bikini mail, more mid-tone in the lower highlight. Again, not a huge deal; especially on a L2PK mini!

Thanks Darcstaar, I base them with the false hope to get back into gaming.  But, I cant stop myself from painting the best I can.  I keep telling myself that I'm currently only at high gaming, so a gaming base is appropriate.

I think both the back and front looks good! Nice job!I

Thanks Thes Hunter, It could be my best work and I'd still find fault.

Thank's Cash, I'm always looking for honest critique.  And while I might not go back to fix, I will definately keep it in mind for my next one.

As an aside:  I'm going to be going to reapercon.  So I will gladly take advice.  Should I be aiming for a bronze or a silver at my current skill level.  And what area would I be best served working on?

Thanks in advance.

I see what you mean about the hair.  I experimented with that exact thing in my Bones Wench.  It didn't even occur to me while painting Tyden.  Again  Thanks for the advice.
