77165: Hellakin Goregutter, Halfling Rogue

Here's Hellakin, one of my entrants for the Little People Beauty Pageant and part of my count for the Resolutionary Painting Challenge. I painted him in a single day so I'm pretty proud of being able to get that done, though he's not a speed paint by any means. Struggled a little to get his hair highlighted correctly, and not sure if I made the right color choices (the mister thinks I should've made him more flashy). I kept messing up the layering on his cloak too, making my layers too watery and having to repeat and glaze it back down. Anyways, I'm glad I've knocked him off my list, comments and criticism is as always appreciated.

      Hello All,

Here is a metal 04088 Erebus Nalas, Evil Sorcerer miniature I completed last week.

Good evening to all of you in the final week of the Kickstarter!

Not at all related to Kickstartes, but once a part of one, this next miniature is a female Halfling Bard, sculpted by Mike Evans at Stonehaven Miniatures. This mini in itself was part of his Halfling Kickstarter, which created a hole bunch of different hobbits, guys and gals, with different professions and adventuring classes.

and a close up of her face:

Once again, no idea on the colors I wanted to use, so I basically just went for the skin, face and hair, and then had to start working on her attire, inside out, shirt first, later pants and then hat and armor.  Ended up with this yellow, blue and pink pallet, which hopefully doesn't clash too much!

Anyhoos, enjoy and put in your Kickstarter bids!

One last figure from October, this was one of those 3 color challenges using pink, blue and yellow, IIRC.  Black and white were also allowed.

Another fun project from Midlam, this time Gnome and Halfling Children.

Unlike most of their previous projects, they're having multiple stretch goals.

      Story

Most Halfling children (or Quarterlings) lead a happy carefree existence in the sleepy backwaters of the halfling lands, in preparation for their happy care free adulthood that they will spend in those same lands.
Gnome Children (or Gnomelings) generally play around their Gnome hill homes, told not to go too far, but equally, not to hang around inside the hill getting in everyone's way.
      Quarterlings and Gnomelings
Welcome to our latest project, where we bring you the much anticipated junior Gnomes and Halflings!  These compliment Midlam Miniatures' large and growing range of Adult Gnomes and Halflings.  Here you can back one, the other, or both sets!
      Stretch Goal Levels #1 - #3 Unlocked!

      Stretch Goals
Unlike most of our Kickstarters which offer 1 or perhaps 2 miniatures, we are going to add a Halfling and Gnome Child miniature for ever £1000 we reach, until the classes are empty and we have run out of miniatures.  Some stretch goal miniatures might be  bigger than others and may count as two stretch goals (over £2000) due to their size and weight.
