rx2web
I was looking for something to paint while waiting for bones 2 to ship. I'm relatively new to painting and have only finished about a dozen minis but love it. I want sure how I wanted to do him, and there are some great paint jobs of him. So I just started painting I'm super pleased with the result. Edited February 13, 2015 by rx2web

kitenerd
Congratulations for taking the bull by the horns and coming out on top. You and i are at the same level of experience, but i don't paint nearly that well. You have every right to be proud he is awesome!

scipio.au
I like what you've done with him. A lot of new painters make the mistake of going silly-overboard with blood effects, and you've been much more conservative which looks a lot better. Well done! rx2web
Here's the back view. the blood was a late addition. Is going for subtly striking. I figured a little Gore on the blades dribbling down the side of the arm with sufficient. my sealer is a gloss and I think I'd like to put a matte finish on it I think would make it actually look a lot better. thank you everyone for your encouraging comments though very helpful.
