Figured I'd share this with everyone, it's the breakdown thus far. As Tre updates his stuff, I'll update my spreadsheet. It's a little wonky as it's an actual excel spreadsheet I'm importing over here to the forum, so things don't line up as precisely as my OCD wants, but it'll have to do.

Even if I just want to glue the arm on with out the pin, the pilot holes increase the surface area for the glue to make a join.

 

Not ... really. The surface area is on opposite sides of a void, so you're talking about a glue to glue join, which is usually pretty fragile. If you use epoxy, you probably won't get a notably worse join than without the void, but it's unlikely to be better. With superglue, it will be much worse. (Superglue works best when the surfaces are machined to very tight tolerances and the glue is as thin as physically possible -- not really possible with cast figures.)

It's always possible! It's actually cheaper for 2 Jotunn than 5 of the first theme guys by themselves, which is why I asked.

May not be easier for Tre though. Gotta take that into consideration too. And so far it's only 1 Jotunn. Maybe he'll make it a theme if he sculpts a second one.

holy wow! that is a lot of stuff to be backing... But i say that not having enough money to back them. Cause i'm pretty sure i would too if could afford it.
