hey guys! Thansk for hanging in through my silence.

 

OK Jotunn set......well that could be a potential problem with the postage costs. I have thus far buil tthe postage costs ( or at least what I expect them to be ) in to the pledge amount. The Jotunn are goign to be considerably heavier than the humans. That coudl be a potential hit to EU UK and ROW postage. I am working on it and I am beginning the armature for the second Jotunn today. Seems that is what peopel want most right now so that is getting underway.

 

  I will be posting an update here in about a an hour or two to show the nearly completed Chosen and HElsmaidens. The Chosen are complete all but for their weapons which will have to plug in to the top of their hands. The weapons WILL be sprued to the foot tab of each chosen so there will eb a specific weapon available with each of them BUT these weapons will all interchange between the Chosen as well. The Helsmaidens still need some fur and  detailing but are otherwise complete as well. The Jotunn's weapon may take a little while to finish as I intend to sculpt each link of his chain separately and then join them all together. I have always liked chain weapons but the way I want to do them is next o impossible at 28 mm scale so the Jotunn's larger scale chain is a great opportunity.

Yeah, Jotunn are awesome! Glad you are working on another one and listening to us Tre. Great stuff. I also understand that you may have to ask for us to add some more for shipping or invoice us after the fact with people who get the bigger models (especially multiples). Just let us know how much more to add to our pledges or create a new pledge amount for those Jotunn with added shipping costs being accounting for perhaps.

Giant with a chain not what I've been looking for in my chain-armed hunt . . . but I'll have to have one.

If making a two-Jotunn set is too much of a postage hit, I'd tend to say screw the second Jotunn. I think having at least a third set - whichever it is - available would be more important in terms of getting backers on the fence invested.

We need a second Jotunn. Especially since we can then make conversions and suddenly field 5-6 different Jotunn guys. They'll make a wrecking hell out of everything :-)

 

I can't say if we'll need the sooner or later, as there's so much stuff we need.

 

In any case, I must say I honestly feel 18$ is too cheap for a big, detailed (multi-part?) guy like the Jotunn. With that starting point, I wouldn't mind paying an extra few dollars for the increased weight of the package.

He said the Jotunn(s) is/are going to retail for $20, but I also agree about the shipping stuff.

I'd be perfectly fine with a line 'Each Theme of two Jotunn you must add an additional $3 (or whatever is reasonable) for shipping'

 

My question still stands though.  Tre, if you do end up theming the Jotunn, can I buy additional themes over the Vanguard level or...?

I'm sure you just add them on like a normal add-on at that point. So Vanguard + x*$18 Jotunns = total, then if you are really heavy, he will invoice you via paypal for extra postage.

Update # 11 Chosen and Helsmaidens WIP updates

 

  hey everybody!

 

 Sorry this update took so long. I wanted to get more done before posting these up so I went and ahead and got them just about totally finished. All that is left is filling in the voids under the cloth folds and a few various bits of fur and the weapons and the Chosen and Helsmaidens are DONE. 

 

   From there I am on to resuming the HelsRider horse once again. I had to make an adjustment tot he armature today that put the anatomy sculpting off until tomorrow or tonight but I will be on it until it is done tomorrow.

 

   So without further a-doo here are the Chosen WIPs and HelsMaidens WIPs as they currently are!
