There is a problem with the weapons on two of the chosen. The shafts of the axes keep breaking above the hand and the shafts are too thin to pin back in to the hand. This means I will have to replace those hands with new weapons.

Glad Tre sent the Craven to a blacksmith. No sense sending them into battle with subpar weapons.

Update #45 replacement parts are in and fulfillment is back underway

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know what the current status is of the project. I have just received the replacement parts for the chosen and I am going through and putting these in with the chosen sets. From there I just need to start the packing. This may be a little while longer yet in doing as this is a more complex campaign than the previous and I don't want to have any miss packs, but rest assured this is job number one this week. I expect to have all of the packing done by week's end and then the labeling should take a couple days more. So hopefully by the end of the week - next week - the US backers should all have their stuff with the ROW following closely there behind based on the typical postage time to their region.

I just wanted to thank everyone again for their patience with us. This has taken FAR longer to complete than originally planned and I fully understand that it has been inconvenient and frustrating to wait as long as you all have. i am working to get this taken care of as quickly and as properly as possible though.

Thanks again!

Tre'

sorry this is taking so long guys but we are progressing.

Not worried at all, Tre. As long as the communication is there, most backers are cool with the delays. They just want to know what's up even if nothing is going on. I like it when project creators send out an update every 2 weeks even if there's nothing to update and they say that. It lets us all know that you're still working to get it done and haven't fallen off the grid.

There were a lot of mailing errors last time around, taking time to get it right and save all that money is definitely a great idea.

I just put 4 more RBG minis on the bench for a project that's been simmering in my noodle for a while now :) So no rush here!

The latest update has some unfortunate news, but it really shows just why so many people respect tre. This guy is next level honest. Major kudos.

I like the idea of making a store order to help him bundle shipping.

While I do agree, I only do so to a certain point. This is now Tre's 6th Kickstarter, and this one, too, like many of the others, is not turning out the way expected. I have a lot of respect for Tre and totally love his work (and I'd love for him to accept commissions for my own miniature project), but he really needs to get organized. These kinds of problems that he is reporting again and again is most likely happening for a reason. Perhaps Tre should look into it and see what he can do for his next Kickstarter to ensure a smoothly fulfillment.

I completely understand your point, and also somewhat agree. I've known many artists (I also went to art school). They can be victims of their own creative natures. It isn't easy to be artistically creative and be a businessman. Trying to be both is usually a tremendous struggle. When the inspiration to sculpt or paint hits, every other thought can fly out the window. When you have projects to do and you're out of creative juices it can be maddening, and when the work is done you're spent. That may not be the case here. Sounds like most of it was caused by thin or fragile pieces and casting difficulties. Either way, it might be better if he could have most of the sculpts completed before the start of his next project.

That said, this is Kickstarter. Delivering late is way more common than delivering on time. I can always accept late when it comes with an honest explanation. Delays have always been a part of these types of endeavors. Kickstarter just lets us experience that part of the process.
