I'll continue to support Tre, he's one of my favorite sculptors and a great all around guy. Not too interested in the next KS being that it's about plastic modular figures, but I'll toss my support behind him to get any/all resin figures he puts up.

Some people aren't as organized (and/or OCD) as others when it comes to being able to keep things orderly. Hopefully, Tre learns from his mistakes in regards to how he fulfills and maybe tries to do something a bit more like a spreadsheet to keep it all together at a glance.

If he doesn't already, it could be a good idea to have data collection done via a Google Form or similar. Each option could be a question that is answered with a number. This would give each customer a row in a spreadsheet and each column a minimum order quantity.

Any idea about what the new mini material will be comparable to from other companies? Bones? Kingdom Death? Something else?

I told him in a PM, I'd be willing to help him out and whip up a good tracking spreadsheet for him if he wants my help. He said he may take me up on the offer.

I believe he's going with the same company/material as Blood Rage and Conan games did.

I'll be honest:

I have more or less given up on Tre becoming organized, but he's a great sculptor, and a nice guy. I have backed three of his projects so far, and he has come through for me every time, eventually. I will definitely continue to back his work.

He's a great sculptor indeed (except that he sculpts way too many figures in the trademarked "Tre Manor-wide-stance"), and I believe that he will get through most of the problems he face if given time. I am, for example, still waiting for some art cards and certificates of authenticity that I was supposed to get when pre-ordering his resin limited edition figures back in 2012. But I am sure that I will eventually get those. :) Tre's a nice guy, so he deserves the help he can get, evenif I too wish that he would become a bit more organized. :)

oi oi! Thanks for the encpuragement and continued support guys!

Ok to answer a few questions. The material for the manufacture of the upcoming plastic is the hard grade PVC ala Privateer Press. From all the samples I have seen it captures the detail really well. The Company whom I am going to be working with is the same company that handles Privateer Press's work and several other high profile product lines.

Organization..... I cannot deny it. this latest KS has been a huge mes and it has definitely been a wrench in the works for RBG over the past year. I wont make excuses I dropped the ball in several regards with this one. Not having a clearer plan. Being overly ambitious and not properly planning for any unforeseen diffifculties. But this was not the first time.

This is also partly what the delay has been on the new KS i want to be absolutely certian I have everything in order and ready for the launch when I launch the campaign. This one will be MUCH more simple and straight forward having only two pledge options at the out set of the campaign. The early bird and the standard pledge. I am going to keep the scope of this KS strictly controlled to eliminate the difficulties of my past efforts and come to grips with the process of the plastics manufacturing.

I have had to back off of the super modularity though. It was just too potentially problematic and more expensive to produce. Mostly I started imaging the length to which miss packs could become a problem with so many tiny parts which look so similar. As such the offering will be less modular. The idea will be to create a " starter " box set which will provide the basic elements of a warband that will work with most any game. There will be four weapon and shield warriors with universally interchangeable heads and weapon hands and one ranger with universally interchangeable head, 6 head options, 6 weapon options ( 2 sword, 2 axes, a spear and a mace ) and these parts will be repeated 3 times in the box for a total of 15 figures. It is my hope to expand the offering through the stretch goals replacing some of the repeats with alternate sculpts or adding additional sculpts of alternate troop types to the box for expanded tactical opportunity. And also to expand with add-on options which backers can boost their warbands or vary the Warband's character.

So the idea is to keep this one clean and simple and swiftly fulfilled. If the most recent campaign has taught me ANYTHING it is something i already knew but did not take properly serious...... The longer it takes to fulfill the more likely it is to be problematic. I think i also made the mistake of not launching new product in the time it took to deliver. As much as I do not like it it is the reality of the business. Not creating new product over the past year has meant having to rely on lower income to cover any gaps that came up in fulfillment. Add to that triple the delivery time originally expected, and going over budget on the production by 50%, not properly anticipating the tax bill and losing 10% of the postage money right off the bat. I just made a lot of small mistakes that were made worse by a reduced income level over a MUCH longer period of time.

Anyway long story short. Sure swift delivery and regular product release.

And Gref, I am sorry man I had forgotten those once again. I WILL get this taken care of.

Unfortunately Tre I didn't get on this last ks due to buying my first house. I heard of your past issue with ks 1 and must missed 2 but got in at 3 and 4. Being new to ks I liked how simple and quick the turn around was. I didnt get In on this last one but I think if you broke it up into 2 ks you would have been very successful in the turn around. Cant wait to get into whatever u have coming next!

I bet making a run of those resins you mentioned might help put a few bucks in the pocket *cough*

Have you thought about the possibility of doing things like HF? Resin Master/Resin/Metal? I know you're focused on plastic now, but when you (hopefully) get back to metal it might be a way to get a nice little boost to profit while at the same time giving the painters a top end product without committing a bunch of stock to it. You do have a lot of really good painters who love your stuff :)

Thanks Dan, The biggest problem on the most recent Ks was that it was never intended to fund more than one set of rank and file. I set up the pledges pooryl and people bought into the highest pledge level expecting there to be at least 4 sets of rank and file, which created a pledge bubble. Refusing to create at least 4 sets of rank and file would have burst that bubble and totally deflated the funding. i was terrififed of that so I over promised and unlocked WAY more stuff than I could actually afford to WAY too early and often. I have since paid the price. Poor planning though, No one's fault but mine.

I would love to stick with metal and for some projects it makes better sense than plastic " characters " for example, but rank and file need to be in plastic to make them affordable as large quantity purchases.....maybe my approach is all worng but I will never know until i try it.

Update # 49 Fulfillment update and Warbands of the Cold North Launches today!!

Hello Everyone!

I am very sorry for yet another long silence but I do have some good news. I have had confirmation that the long awaited restock of the Berserkers is on it's way to me right now and will be delivered tomorrow. That will mean that tomorrow afternoon I will be able to finally finish fulfilling all the remaining rewards from this kickstarter campaign. It has been a mess but it is finally coming to a close. I do VERY much appreciate all of your patience with me throughout this ordeal and I hope I have not stretched your patience with me too far. I will post another update after all packages have been shipped to let everyone expecting know that their package is en route.

Any backers here still waiting on their rewards from this?

If not I'll be locking it down soon.

unfortunately there are. I am currently awaiting a restock on the two hordesmen heroes to complete the awaiting rewards.
