The regular-sized figures, sure... As Talae said, eventually.

Probably not the larger ones like the minotaur demon, though - metal versions would be impractical.  They're generally too cost-prohibitive - not so much for the amount of metal to produce them, but the amount they'd need to charge per mini in order to profit on a sale would seriously limit the number of overall sales, and then you'd need to factor in the cost of shipping such a large weight of metal.

Also, a lot of the larger ones simply aren't possible to produce effectively in metal, with their thin wings or weapons which would bend or break under their own weight.

Its the smaller ones I like to see in metal anyhow. The detail on regular human sized minis is much sharper and better for painting than Bones. For the price though, and for large numbers of monsters & NPCs, the Bones are truly awesome.

I much prefer Bones for the huge minis, not just for the cost savings  but for ease of handling, assembly, and transport to games once they are complete. The huge metal minis are so expensive and prone to damage during transport, that I'm afraid to do little more than leave them in the display case. The detail on the larger Bones is really good, and I still get to play with my toys without fear of breakage.

Bones to metal; metal to Bones...

Don't they all start off as greens?

The answer is: its complicated.

A mini sculpted strictly for BONES only needs to exist as a digital file so technicaly that's not a green, maybe a grey? (50 Shades of of Grey Aliens, remember you saw it here first).

In the past a mini for metal production was usually a green, now it could start as a digital sculpt and printed as long as the print was in a substance that could stand up to the molding process. We could see a complete shift from greens to greys!

But you're the one that will have to judge that Diorama entry at RCon now…  :poke:

Green alien, grey alien, it don't matter as long as their heads go 'splody when shot at.

But true enough, digital designs are becoming the norm and a master mini may not be required anymore.

Well not so much masters as prototypes and early samples.
