I seem to be getting carried away with applying a rusted paint job to my miniatures:

Unprimed and poorly pinned through feet.

Brush on Primer plus a layer of Brown Liner and then some Ancient Bronze.

The full treatment of Ancient Bronze/Lava Orange/Bloodstain Red/Shadowed Steel/Sun Yellow in various layers multiple times for most of them.

The front looks way less chalky and bloodstained than the pic suggests (looks much more like the back shot. That is what I get for taking a pic in dim lighting with a flash. This is less than an hour's worth of work, including mold line removal and priming, but not counting pinning.

...I'm definitely stealing your rusty metal recipe for SOMETHING.

...bwahaha, I'm so tired I typed that "steeling." ::D: Me so punny!

Seriously, all of your rusty stuff has been looking great, but the automaton here? Fantastic.

I wonder if the automaton, chibi clockwork pony, rusted brass bull, and rusted wyrmgear make for a functional SoBH warband...

The Tin Man looks TERRIFIC. GREAT WORK!

If you are up to just one more touch, a dot of yellow in his red eyes would add a nice glow.
