damnitall22
I have been looking all around Reaper and can't seem to find anything to match my miniature needs. We are starting a pirate campaign and one of my players is going with the new Brawler class from Pathfinder. He is looking for light/no armor, a full beard, and long hair. I have been unable to find much of anything to match well with that. If anyone knows where to find something close I would be greatly appreciative. Pingo
If having weapons is okay, there's this one: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/beard%20king/sku-down/60075
Last Knight
The Highlanders may also work.
Pingo
And there is this one, which has also just come out in a plastic Bones version as part of the Reaper Bones II Kickstarter. The Kickstarter has just fulfilled, so I would think the Bones version of this one will hit the Reaper store soonish. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/human%20beard/sku-down/03026 Some images of Pathfinder brawlers have weapons and some don't. What is your players' vision of the character?
Mad Jack
This guy's got a beard but no hair, but putting hair on him wouldn't be too hard... Pretty easy to remove the chain, too. This guy would need a beard, which is simple, but he's more monk than pirate... Edited March 1, 2015 by Mad Jack
damnitall22
He is wanting to just fist fight for the most part... so maybe a dagger or something but nothing massive. The face he has in mind is kind of viking warriorish, for the beard and hair... the only thing I can think of is the blacksmith bones mini and another one... barbarian warrior with axe... and cut carefully and do a head change... but I am not the best at that Edited March 1, 2015 by damnitall22
Smokestack
If it doesn't have to be a reaper model, Wrath of kings Lord Hob, Would look pretty good as a brawler. He is plastic, so cutting out the weapon would be pretty easy. The Weapon consiste of the left arm holding the mace, and the right hand on the mace... The kickstarter is still delivering but you can find him on ebay... https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/002/326/995/e3d3295037d0db791248f837f31f614d_large.jpg?1406148834
Dai-Mongar
How about Ostog the Unslain? Wouldn't be hard to remove the sword or replace it with a dagger. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/unslain/sku-down/60068#detail/60068_p_1_mj
Qwyksilver
Gungor, half orc monk. Make a head swap, or if you are comfortable with a little putty work, add the hair and beard. Brotherhood of the Seal could also work, but again, the issue is the hair. If you really want to suspend a little disbelief, but have something that works. Bugbear Bully. Get the metal version, the shield is a separate piece that glues to the left forearm. Without the shield the base could easily be painted to look like a Cestus. It's really easy to remove that club too and drill out the hand so it's a massive closed fist. You can trim down the ears. Not much you can do for the face unfortunately, and the head is really built into the shoulders so it would be hard to remove and swap.
