Lidless Eye Hobbies vs. the Low Level Encounters

Recommended Posts

I finished up some conversions (and standard grunts) I started about two weeks back.  With our Reign of Winter game wrapping up, it's always good to have some low level guys.

Of course, most of these sculpts are from Bones I (or before), but the extra Bugbears did come with Bones II, so that's sort of progress toward it, right?

So, to start, we have the mighty forces of King Togg-Togg (he's the one in the fanciest hat, of course)

Great job on the bugbears. Love King Togg-Togg (appears to be a GW orc axe, nice conversion). The hands on some of the converted orcs look a little small, but otherwise great job making each mini unique.

Sweet! I've got a bunch of GW bits and the same ideas. I hope mine come out as well as yours did.

Yes, both of King Togg-Togg 's hands come from the newer Black Orc kit and the hat is from the 6th edition starter Orcs.

The hand thing was weird as all the Orcs varied in hand proportion a bit already...and number of fingers. The Beastmen hands were my original idea but these guys seemed to have fancier equipment (for Orcs) and the Beastmen had crude stuff that didn't fit.

I love the concept of a ginger bugbear!

I don't know why I decided to do the Bugbears in orange. I thought the D&D prepaints were...maybe the Legendary Encounters was? Maybe it was their pumpkin roots (Badum tish)
