I just got my metal figures. I don't understand the way they cast a couple of these. It looks like they cast them almost the same way they cast the resin. Lots of tiny separate pieces. I haven't examined them closely yet, so they might end up being solid figures. One does look quite nice. Truthfully, I'm glad to finally be done with this project.

That's good news.  Maybe I'll see my metals and the end of this project.

Never again!

Yeah, and I feel like crap for talking them up for this one. Done with RH.

Don't feel bad. Their first kickstarter was good.  The minis are great and they were delivered on time.  Still very challenging to put together, but otherwise nice.

As for this one....

Yea, the blame all falls on Raging Heroes. How did those even get pass QC? Did they hire someone who is unfamiliar with miniatures? Why are there so many vents? Why are some on the face and delicate parts? Ugh. Waste of money.

Don't beat yourself up too much.  the first KS was pretty fun and had a good product.  I certainly wasn't able to see what was going to happen with the second.

In fact, i actually bought some of their stock minis from their store to check casts and quality of the resin.  I like my "dangerous women" set that I got.  The second KS was just a really big mess and cost them any further business from me.

It's remarkable how so many people on this forum hate what they got from the Raging Heroes TGG and TGG2 campaigns. OWhen I look at other places on the internet I don't see as much negativity regarding them.

Now my first wave stuff had flaws. I'm well aware of that. The later stuff is much better. Personally I'm willing to wait and see what they have to offer next (although if they couldn't tell that people saying they wanted top quality scenery that was also dead cheap didn't mean Cardboard Scenery then maybe I should re-evaluate my opinions of them somewhat).
