Those are going to be big hunks of metal, though.

But...but.. they are amazing!

ETA: Okay, time for me to do my normal spreadsheet here pretty soon. Gotta finish up my project then I'll work on it.

My only concern with this KS is that they stick too much to the heroic proportions for the WH40k/FB crowd. The troops in this one are already a bit chunkier than I prefer them, but the renders for the last KS troops boxes were like that and turned out great.

The hydra tempts me, and could make me recalculate my pledge total.

The manticore.... has a really teeny, tiny head.

The Manticore is from their First KS (written in tiny letter next to it), this one will be a bit different.

Am I the only one too ADD to make sense of this campaign? They have the same concept art in two different places, one it's a passed stretch goal, in another it is a upcoming stretch goal with a higher required goal... and $200 for 20 free minis.... or some such? Isn't that 20 minis for $10 each? Or are those on top of another $200 worth of minis you actually are paying for?

I like their concepts, but I was hoping they would learn a bit about how to communicate after their first KS. I know I'll miss out on a good deal, but I may wait for retail so I can just point and click what I want without having to use my secret decoder ring.

Are you familiar with the "Knapsack Problem?"

Optimizing your pledge is computationally impractical. :poke:

Nah, I noticed it too. There are some concept arts for the commanders which are just the troopers flipped on a vertical axis. So, it's kind of hard to be excited about their troopers/commanders.

They have different versions (sci-fi and fantasy) being unlocked, shown as stretch goals at first at the top and then shown below in their fantasy/sci-fi areas as being locked or unlocked with green unlocked locks or red locked locks.

The $200 in free miniatures will be the 15 miniatures which Lieutenant (and above) pledge levels get. There is 1 per day that is unlocked and given to everyone at those levels.

It's also ala carte so you can pick/choose in the pledge manager from the unlocked figures what you want, the point and click method you are talking about.

ETA: By backing the KS you'll get some pretty steep discounts and help unlock a lot more things for yourself and all the others.

I feel for you. Their campaigns are confusing at first and I'm not expecting much until a few days in. That being said their pledge manager is nice and you can even get a live person on chat to help you shop so it might be worth it to put a little bit of money down to have access to that.

In regards to the All Star Box's.

from Facebook

Asharah Raging Loquak Davian: It's a special box, with not only very special troopers that are very similar to a band of heroines, but also which starts with 3 minis and will upgrade with more minis during the campaign, depending on how it goes, we'll give more details in an update

What does this mean?

Stretch goals will likely add directly to the box without you having to spend more money.  Kinda like how the Core got bigger in Bones II and you didn't have to pay more money for it.

I think it means that they will ADD more to those boxes such as figures and bits as unlocks without the cost going up. So, for example, you could potentially pay $20-$25 for a box of 4-5 figures and extra weapons/bits for them.
