Am I the only one that is slightly put off by high heeled full plate armour and swimsuit models in straps and wimples?

Probably.

I'm not put off. I knew what to expect coming into it after seeing their webpage and FB posts and their previous kickstarter/current line of figures.

I think the best word--or second best but slightly less offensive to delicate sensibilities, anyway--to describe this project from presentation to product is busy. I returned to see it in motion, see if I should dip a toe in the water, and nyuuuoooooope.

They're raking it in, though, so bully for them.

Considering people in here are figuring out what internal organs to sell to pledge more, probably :)

What I like about it is that there is a nice variety of things to pick from as well as figures that fit multiple genres. They are definitely an aesthetic that isn't pleasing to everyone and I can see that some would find them offensive or be turned off by them, just like some love KD and others hate it.

Personally, I find exactly the fact that these miniatures are not "normal" or "average", that they don't aim to please everybody so exciting.

I'll have a hard time (read: probably impossible) to stick to my $162 pledge.

Yep, same here. They are different and so cool to me.

FAQ says that miniatures will be spin-cast resin, but most heroes will be available in metal ... does that mean we can choose and if so ... spin-cast resin or metal?

I believe the last one allowed you to pick/choose in the pledge manager, but there were some more expensive options like "hand poured" resin.

Hmm some of the sci-fi concepts are also fantasy?

If anyone wants to split a Lieutenant and freebies let me know.  I'm nto sure there will be $175 worth of stuff I'll want.. or I may end up just piggy backing off someone..

Are you still interested in doing this?

Does it have to be my own internal organs that get sold?

There is a lot of pretty cool stuff to be had here. If I get into it, it's going to be hard to choose....

I'm not really keen on he centaurs, though. Bodies as legs is just a little too farfetched for me.
