Very nice freehand!!

Basing - I usually like to think about who that figure is, where they came from, where they are going, what story I want to tell with it. So basing is pretty personal to the figure, I'm not familiar with this particular figure, but he kind of looks like a traveler or wander, so maybe basing with a small town visit in mind or travelling down a trade road. That's what it says to me off the top of my head.

COOL COOL COOL AND COOL.

The miniature is awesome - I had to take a double take to see the arms. The Free hand work Looks great, good choice too! What is your inspiration for that design?

I'm not familiar with that Figure either but from the looks of it, its a play on a scare crow. He is like an assassin or a Mesmer.

Keeping with the background you could do cobblestones.

But, your colours do already set your figure as different from the sombre concept art for this guy. Maybe make him on a dirt road or highway as a theme. Maybe put a picnic basket for a well armed scarecrow companion. Of course that would need a little girl, lion, and knight.

Hello everyone, here are some pictures of the Cavemen matriarch. This Dark Heaven Legends 02395, Cavewoman was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
I added primitive paintings on the jars and scratches on her knuckles, elbows and knees.

Hello everyone, here are pictures of a 77341 Lioness. This Bones model was sculpted by Geoff Valley. I painted it as a Black (Blue) Panther.
I kept the original base and sculpted additional high grass around to incorporate it to a larger 2 inches square base. The trees are dried roots.

      Hi all,

Continuing on my not so subtle theme a a group of 4 Gauntfields with colorful taste in coats.

The 5th Guantfield is one I painted at RC 2018 random paint - just added a few touches to it at home. That was fun.... and came out rather well considering the random colors and need for polka dots on the sickle!

I started this little guy some years ago, but then I got stuck and he just set on my shelf of shame and stared at me (I had already painted the eyes).
Now I finally finished him, so it's a collaboration of Younger Samedi and Not-So-Young-Anymore-Samedi. Funny thing is, I have no idea what colours Young Samedi used, I just remember mixing some greens and browns together for the skin. And of course my all-time favourite metallic: The copper of the old Reaper Pro Paint series.

Young Samedi was a keyboard player, that's why he liked this mini so much - I mean, how many minis of keyboard players are there?
Not-So-Young-Anymore-Samedi plays keyboard only very sporadically. But at least he finishes his painting projects now and then...

So enjoy, C&C very welcome, as always!
