Urban War miniatures

I don't recognize the kneeling figure? The others I recognize, but that looks more like a Mantic Games Enforcer.

Woman in back with the winged jump pack is a V.A.S.A. Archangel Sergeant, the other three are Syntha models.

You are right. That is the Enforcer Sergeant from Mantic.

Here is a better shot of the 'Yeld' in the back:

(Aside: Scotia-Grendel have the rights to the Urban War and Void incarnations of all these models, just in case you need more of them. And the... is it the androsynth sergeant? Would do well for Power Fist Guy, if anyone's wondering.)

In any case, this is an AWESOME use for these models, they make great Necromunda figures! Despite loving NM back in the day, and being an avod scrounger of lesser-known scifi miniatures, I'd never made the connection you did here. Nice work!

There are brand new community rules for Necromunda. The Outlander expansion was also added just a few weeks ago. It's put together by the brilliant community at Yakromunda. It's a complete re-balance of the rules, clarifications on many vague areas, and heavily playtested. :)

They also have a massive vault, with just about everything that has ever been released for the game. I got back after 15 years. :D It's never too late to rekindle an old love. ^^

I like what I see.

Can you post some close ups?

Here is the male 'Orrus'. This is really an amazingly detailed sculpt::

For anyone that's interested in these, the Urban War model number and name are listed below. The force name is in parenthesis after the model name.

'Yeld'--------------------13723 - Archangel Sergeant (VASA)

'Orrus'------------------13310 - Hercules Class Biomech (Syntha)

'Crouching Blonde'---13331 - Nyxx Assassin (Syntha)

'Redhead'--------------13330 - Neo Pi (syntha)

And just to be a completionist, the other figure is Enforcer Sergeant Howlett (MGEDZE08-1).

Really nice. Plus, it's always good to see some love for Necromunda :)

Thanks. I  agree. Sorry it's taken a while to get the pictures, but here are the last two closeups.

The last one needs to be fixed due to the horrible OSL Maybe I'll post him when I get the time to adjust the paint. :)

Here you go, folks, my second of the four Warhammer warbands I've got (Here's the first). When I first started painting these, I was a bit worried about them looking just like a blob of gold, but I must say, I'm quite pleased with how the colors look. And that bird... That bird is my favorite. I tried speckling its breast and around its neck, but it just looks blotchy. Oh well.

So, a coworker and fellow painter gave me a bunch of unwanted Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire minis, so uh... Guess that's mostly what you guys will be seeing from me in the near future!

As I'm just naturally inclined to orcs, and these guys look absolutely awesome, I painted Ironskull's Boyz first. Also, finally got my hands on some premade washes, so I ditched homemade watered down paints on these. Personally, I think it made 'em look pretty good!

The number of ants that tried to photobomb this shot was ridiculous.

The lighting on the individual shots was being weird, so sorry if some are darker and other lighter!

      Greetings!

Vietnam Zombie with gun from Citadel Miniatures of old!

This was a limited release which was linked with both the Chainsaw Warrior board game & 40K Chaos.

      Thanks for looking!

I've been trying to work on my encounters for Rangers of Shadow Deep.  Here's a bunch of randomness from that work!

      Oh, Rats!

We have: a Warhammer Quest rat, a Frostgrave Wizards II Rat Familiar, a Reaper Bones Rat Swarm, a Reaper Bones Rat Ogre, a Spawn Rat from Dark Platypus Studios, a Warhammer Skaven Giant Rat, and a Rat Mama 3D print from Crippled God Foundry.

      Oh, Bats!

A Bat Swarm from Reaper Bones.

      An Infestation of Spiders:

A Reaper Bones Cavern Spider, a Reaper Bones Spider Swarm, a man-faced spider that may be from Foundry, and a classic Warhammer Quest giant spider.

      Flies that are Giant:

One of the more unusual encounters in Rangers of Shadow Deep. I picked these up from the 40k Kill Team: Rogue Trader boxed set before there were official models.

Hi guys.  Here is my painted Bones Succubus.  Parts of her are a hot mess but I am so happy with her!!  I pushed through sone issues I was having and there are so many spots I learned on her.  For starters she has the first makeup I ever put on a mini.  She has eyeshadow, blush, lipstick complete with little white light dot on her lower lip for fun and a beauty mark!  I started with slightly less pronounced makeup but then she's a succubus, she would have exaggerated makeup I think.  The unfortunate thing about her is her right cheek has quite an indent and then a mold line a little past that.  I disguised the mold line by giving her a "lady sideburn" to match the one sculpted on the other side but there's nothing I can do about the indent.  Then her wings, for the first time I was able to get more of a variation in the colouring which I tried with my bat demon and ended up covering because I didn't like it.  Her dress could have used a bit more but I was done and I'm still working on the layering/highlighting in general.  One thing that still bothers me is the rough look of my paint jobs when I'm done.  I paint with a wet palette so thinning isn't an issue I don't think and don't put coats on top of drying paints so that's not causing it.  Hope everyone likes her as much as I do.  I even have a second copy of her to do later in my painting journey.
