So, I got a basic set from the raffle (yay!), and I bought 2 of the wall racks at reapercon, but i had a question. How optimistic would you be about my being able to put a 22" lcd monitor on that? I hadn't really looked into the big racks as an option since I'm short on desk space... But if I could put 2 racks by each other, and a monitor on each, we might be in business.

I have a couple of 24"ers that i'll try it on. Worst case scenario, add some books or some wood under the top shelf to support it. Then take pictures and send them to me. :D

They had kids and adults stand on some of their racks. They are pretty sturdy, should easily hold monitors.

In the interest of full disclosure, they were standing on a drawer. i'm positive the rack won't hold 260 lbs. (which is what my dad weighs) I knoe they'er pretty durable, but as of yet I haven't stacked weight until it collapses. This video is coming, just haven't done it yet.

So by popular request at ReaperCon, we made all paint sides, made to use our current shelves.

Also, we made some high capacity shelves. they hold 20 dropper bottles PER shelf. using our all paint sides, for a whopping 100 bottles in a basic rack size (16x12x6)

I can't seem to load pictures here, but check our facebook feed.

We'll be adding them to the kickstarter as soon as we are 100% happy with the fit and finish!

You will have to link to the pictures. Only a couple of the sub-forums allow photos to be uploaded directly.

I have to say I'm kind of confused about the way this is getting run. Why wait for funding to reach 50% before adding the high capacity option? I understand the idea of stretch goal where more funding is needed before adding more items, but when the goal is below the funding level all you're doing is preventing people from pledging early if that's the item they want. Also the main page still lacks pictures displaying the shelf choices. It's better than at launch, but you are still making people search around for your website to get information rather than having it right on the first page of the kickstarter. With attention spans these days I feel like your probably losing out on potential backers who move on immediately after not easily finding the information they want. The Reapercon launch without decently pictures and explanations in place probably hurt more than it helped.

Well, the items I'm adding were just recently designed. Products requested from rrapercon. So I've just finished the stage of development where we can add them.

To be frank, were very new at this. Kick starter is an interesting creature. And we may end up having a giant lessons learned from it.

I'd love to say we got this under control. We are doing our level best to do what we can.

I understand that the new items are new and couldn't be added before now. It's just that now that they are ready I don't see why you'd delay adding them until you hit 50%. It seems like all that does is hold you back. Especially since I think the new high capacity rack is great. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it will sell better than the original basic rack.

The rest take as constructive criticism and suggestions. I realize you can't go back to launch and magically make all the pictures there at this point. I really do think it would be a good idea to add good pictures of the shelf choices sooner rather than later though.

OK! So we've gotten the new website launched. please take a look. www.tgjhobbies.com This information is going to make its way to the Kickstarter.

ALSO, We've finally gotten an accurate rate for shipping on there, so no more flat rate (unless its cheaper), but this means we're looking at our international options mUCH more seriously now! I am really confident that by the 30 day mark we should have our international affairs in order and be able to open that up!

I know its all a long time coming, but its a lot of work to get things moving so quickly. Prior to ReaperCon, we had very few orders.... that changed.

ALSO, ReaperCon orders are back on track to ship this weekend! parts finally came back from the cutter (which if you don't know our little area of the world was a tad wet recently) and we're resuming production again!

Sorry for the lag gang. As always, and comments and questions please don't hesitate to ask! And if I don't answer here fast enough, send me an email!
