That is really good to know. So are consumers responsible for their own on small business purchases or is it to encourage small business?

No, consumers aren't responsible for VAT at all, it's all on the businesses' end. I think small businesses are exempt because it would cost the government more to process than they would collect. It's quite a complicated process, and you have to track the VAT you've charged, and the VAT you've paid, which can be different rates depending on the item.

See! I'm not the only one who wants a platypus miniature. XD

No, there's quite a few... there's a forum called 'Random Platypus' and as you can imagine, they all want one!

I like the idea of Burrows and Badgers being a kind of 'series' of kickstarters or minis that slowly expands.  Like the second line being more obscure critters and warriors, and the third being more mundane well dressed politicians and civilians.  Badger blacksmith, or maybe something silly like a very portly wide hipped ant eater tavern owner :p

This is basically what I would like to do; run another KS with a group of 'foreign' animals, to bring in some of the cool animals from around the world, like a group of travelling adventurers. Maybe a merchant caravan as well, that sort of thing.

I also really want to do an enslaved badger, down on all fours, with a rat lord sitting on a throne on his back!

*excited squeal* How is it that I didn't know about this until today?!?! After only a moment's hesitation, I'm in for all 20! My family are all big Redwall fans, and these will make excellent presents! ^_^

Might need a second badger, it's tied with the mouse warrior as my favorite sculpt! I'm very excited to see what the wildcat looks like, though! :D

Thanks very much! I'm starting on the wildcat in about 10 minutes, so hopefully by Monday there will be pics...

I had to back this Kickstarter, they were just so cute, umm I mean ferocious of course :B): .

Thank you! I've always been a fan of things that are cute and ferocious... :;):

I saw on Facebook that the next Darksword KS is going to be anthros too.

That will be interesting...

Anyway, I've got the toad finished:

Now I'm off to sculpt the wildcat.

cheers

Oh wow, I love the enslaved badger idea. That would be so much fun to paint, and Hubby would have such fun playing him as a villain  ^_^

That toad is amazing! I love him!

I'm tempted to pledge for the toad, but shipping makes it a bit pricey to get just the one figure, so I'm looking at maybe, maybe doing a Party of five pledge. There are a few that I could see using as old school beastmen, or as were creatures as Thes Hunter said.

I have a question, is it possible to get the badger without going for the Goodbeasts pledge (£40) or the full monty (£70)? In other words, is he available as a £9 add-on, would it be possible to do Party of five plus the badger, or something like that?
