Burrows and Badgers by Oathsworn Miniatures

I think for a party of travelling adventurers a Tasmanian devil would go well... Much more interesting than the regular platypus or koala:-P

A Tasmanian devil does sound cool... although now I have Loony Toons music in my head!

...The tilted head gives it so much more character...

I spent ages trying different angles on the head - that was the one that looked the best to me, so I'm glad it works.

Can we have a wolf in sheep's clothing ?

Great idea, but probably too big. I'll think about it, and see if there's any way to make it work...

Anyway, I got the wildcat finished:

Now I'm off to tackle the lizard.

cheers

I have a question, is it possible to get the badger without going for the Goodbeasts pledge (£40) or the full monty (£70)? In other words, is he available as a £9 add-on, would it be possible to do Party of five plus the badger, or something like that?

Yeah, that should be fine - just pledge for the party of five, and add £9. I think Jo said there were a couple of people doing that already.

I forget that most people's exposure to Devil's is through that medium...

Sorry about that ::P:

The wildcat looks great, though not as unique a figure as most in this KS. There are already lots of anthropomorphized felines and canines.

But not beagles....

Most sculptors can't handle the ears.

You know what I like about this kickstarter. People just like Oathsworn and the miniatures they produce. It feels markedly different to other kickstarters I've backed. There's no whizzy game system, no mountain of stretch goals, no ambitious new material or silly pledge levels offering to sculpt your Grandma, and no attempts to be the next big thing in the miniatures world. It's just good, clean, fun and a lot of talent.

Well done Dave and Jo.

Wood Elves next please.

Squished wood elves maybe :rolleyes::lol:

I agree though. It feels like hanging out and having fun. I feel like we could all go to Michael & Jo's house and hang out with them and we could all have fun painting critters and dwarves and squished elves. :poke:

@Seej: I think that wildcat if pretty unique as far anthro kittehs go. I've certainly never seen one with that kind of character.

Oh man, I am loving that wildcat; he looks so mean and powerful! :wub: I was actually expecting him to have a wicked scar across one eye, or maybe an eyepatch. I'll have to see what I can do to add one or the other when I get my own copy of him! ^_^

Huzzah!

But... but... that is what we're attempting! Turns out we're just not very good at it... :huh:

Well done Dave and Jo.

I sculpted a wood elf riding a beagle today. Then I ran it over with my car.  :;):

It's a long way for you to go, and there's not much room, but we're up for it! Painting / squishing party!

I love the toad (the rest too, but that toad is fantastic).  Absolutely, first rate sculpting!

Thank you! He's one of my favourites too.

I was tempted to add an eyepatch; but because the hare had one, I decided not to. Still I could go back and add one..

I love the cat as he is, no eyepatch for the stock sculpt!

...or maybe not! Sorry, OneBoot, Citrine has spoken!  ^_^

Anyway, I got the lizard done:

Fox and Ferret next!
