The lizard is very nice, although I would love for the left arm to the casted as a separate piece so we can position more... aggressively. I don't like the current position TBH (sorry!), can lizards actually bend they shoulder back that far, to place the arm in that position?!

I love the toad (the rest too, but that toad is fantastic).  Absolutely, first rate sculpting!

Agreed! I really love that toad ("no honey, I wasn't referring to you, I'm talking about a miniature here").

Actually, looking at that toad makes me hope that a future Oathsworn project will be... frog-men! I've got a thing for frogs though, so I might be biased; I have no idea if there's a good market for them.

EDIT: My thing for frogs is partly what got me so hard into the CSM Tome of Horror Kickstarters... so much froggy goodness that was never to arrive.

One of these days I'm going to travel the world, and when I do I'm going to go to England (they have castles and the 100 acre wood), and I'm going to go to your house and paint minis with you, because you just invited me to ^_^ You can't take it back now!!!!

Anyhoo... I do love the lizard, though I agree on the arm. It looks a bit awkward. At first I thought he'd be hiding another dagger back there. He looks wonderfully sneaky though

Thanks Nate!

I've made a start on the last 2 Vermin - very early in the process so far, but you can see how I'm doing it here:

Still lots to do if I'm going to get them finished by Sunday night... plus I have to do a PDF of the basic rules by Monday night; just a taster though - I won't have time to do the whole type-up. It'll have to be movement, combat and shooting; no time for the magic and experience rules yet.

And Jo's been busy sculpting some scatter terrain; ruined building corners, a cooking pot, tents, stuff like that. Basically a little campsite in a ruined farmstead. It was really just meant for us to use, but we'll probably have a go at moulding and casting it in resin.

cheers,

Michael

silly pledge levels offering to sculpt your Grandma,

Well, since most companies already make skeletons, yeah, that would be kinda silly...

Re: lizard arms... Their shoulders can definitely go back that far, as depending on the lizard (esp. the tree-climbing ones) most of them rotate at least as well if not better than a human's, but not sure about the elbows. My old conehead lizard was fond of hanging from the livingroom curtains in some truly painful-looking poses.

I'm in for the one-eyed rabbit. It's like Watership Down: Medieval version. It physically hurts that I can't go all in for this one.

I'm too broke to eat off the dollar menu at McDonald's right now, which says something about how awesome these are that I've now gotten in on only my second non-Reaper KS in my entire life and literally skipping eating lunch for three days to do it. (Don't worry, I'm fat and can afford to miss a meal or two... ::D: )

Weird... it won't load for me on chrome but it will on safari. I've never had something do that for this long  At least I can look at it.

That is strange - it works fine for me on Chrome. I did have a problem a while back with KS when it decided it didn't like my Adblocker, but nothing since then.

I've never attempted mini sculpting, but I appreciate seeing the process from start to finish. Thanks for the WIP on how you build your armatures.

No problem; I'll be attempting to photograph the heads as I sculpt them today. Not sure how that will go; but I'll try!

::o: I'm humbled by this...

Mmm.  Not quite able to afford everything.  Goodbeasts or vermin, vermin or goodbeasts...

Yeah, that was never a contest.  Vermin it is.

Everybody loves the bad guy... ^_^
