Yea!  beagles for Beagle!  I'm so happy.  I actually love them as a breed.  I would have one if every one I have ever owned wasn't an escape artist and a digging machine.  The last one we owned, I spent more time letting him into the backyard then I did letting him out.

so many great minis!  an in such a short timeframe too!

Still looking for that hat sprue in the next one...

Sadly impossible, I fear... they've all got different shaped heads!

I can't shake the whole Animals of Farthing Wood theme from my head whenever I see these. Love the pug and the beagle

Cheers! I've planned the pug and beagle as a pair of bounty hunters, tracking down vermin...

Thanks! Although to be honest, these ones have taken me a lot longer than they should of... I'm aiming to do 3 a week, but other stuff keeps slowing me down. I'm averaging about 1.5 a week at the moment, which is a bit rubbish really!

cheers,

Michael

Can I at least get a badger in a bowler? Maybe chomping on a cigar? I think I need some VictorianSteamFantasyAnthroPunk Burrows and Badgers minis. Maybe a whole KS, just for them. Moles with monocles, badger boxers in bowlers, that kind of thing.

Just a thought.

EDIT: Edited for platypods with pocketwatches.

The problem is that it doesn't really fit with the background I've got in my head... I'm making (slow) progress on the game rules, and the setting is a dark age/medieval fantasy type. So I really want the minis to fit with that; Victorian steampunk stuff isn't really workable.

I understand that if you are just looking for some cool minis, then a mix of types (medieval, steampunk, renaissance etc) is ideal. But I really want to put together a focused range that can be used together in the game setting. So, for the forseeable future at least, no steampunk anthros... sorry!

Hey we can dream that if the minis do super awesome and the rules work that someday there might be a steampunk expansion. I agree with the fantasy element though. I prefer it myself and love the style you are putting on these guys. Not too cutesy. They are serious minis for a serious type setting. It's perfect.

So, if they're hunting vermin, like rats and weasels, shouldn't you have a terrier or a dachshund (both breed for hunting rats and other burrow dwellers)? *is bothersome ^_^* I mean, aside from being cute, pugs weren't breed for anything. They're purse dogs ::o:

haha, they're both awesome. Just ignore me. I'll just being annoying ^_^

Pugs are cute?!?  :;):

A terrier is a possibility... the problem is we have endless options for good guys, and very few for baddies. So if we do another dog, I'll probably go for a staffordshire bull terrier, and make him a bad guy. They look pretty evil to me anyway!

Any chance of another frog or toad?

There'll definitely be more frogs and toads... I had thought of frogs as good guys, and toads as bad guys, but now I'm thinking they might have to both be evil, because there are too many goodies!

I'm still hoping for visitors from the east. Like a raccoon dog samurai or a marten ninja. I can't remember who mentioned the concept earlier.

I'm planning 5 or 6 overseas animals for a 'Travelers' set. Possibles are: Platypus, Tasmanian devil, Red Panda, Armadillo, Japanese Raccoon Dog, Japenese Marten, Tortoise, Raccoon, Skunk, Fennec Fox. Not sure which ones to go for yet, though...

Excellent. Amphibians make good bad guys I think.

This is the 22nd project my wife and I have worked side by side together on. Posted tbis on Facebook but first time adding our project to the forums. I hope you like our Interpretation of the KS  Mammoth not sure if the is a SKU for it. C&C more than welcome. Felt with it being a mammoth a more wintery theme should be more in keeping. Enjoy. Stay safe in these troubled times.

I know there are a few folks that do Bolt Action and similar 28mm wargaming (@buglips), so I thought I'd bounce this out there.

      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tftb/world-war-ii-soviet-railroad?ref=discovery_recommendations

      Story
Railroads are an important means to transport troops, equipment, ammunition and all other kinds of supply to the front. Especially in a country as vast as the Soviet Union with it's endless steppes, only few reliable roads and no major rivers running in the direction of the German advance during Operation Barbarossa in World War II.
With this set of detailed buildings and rolling stock in 1/56 scale for 28mm figures you get the opportunity to recreate the crucial fighting around the Soviet railroad system.
The kits focus on the major pieces of rolling stock available to the Soviet defenders: box cars, gondola cars and flat cars. And the mighty ALCo RSD-1 Diesel Engine which was made available under the US Lend-Lease Act.
Also included is a typical rural train station with optional additional platforms for all who want to depict a Soviet - or captured German - supply depot, where heavy equipment like tanks and guns are being unloaded.
And for all of you looking for an armored train - don't worry! We have you covered.
        Talking about railroad tracks:
We did not see the need to reinvent the wheel, so all kits are designed to be used with
4Ground Railroad Tracks (available as add-ons to the Kickstarter) or O Gauge Model Railroad Tracks The kits include optional parts enabling you to choose your favorite system while assembling. Going this route has allowed us to concentrate on designing and producing the rolling stock only, which has the advantage of an earlier fulfillment date for the Kickstarter.
All models are highly detailed on the outside and inside. The interiors are easily accessible, as roofs are removable. In addition, all doors are moveable, which means you can open or close them during gameplay.

A Viking Girl sculpted by Bobby Jackson. She was a lot of fun to paint since she had a lot of canvas for freehand work. She is also my first serious effort at NMM, so that's a well I plan to return to.

I came to paint her when I asked my friends which model needed to get some love next. I presented a wizard, a ranger, and an armored lady fighter. One chimes in that she'd like to see the fighter (she being a practitioner of HEMA). Her boyfriend mentions something about boob armor. I said, no, she's got pretty normal armor. You want to see something egregious? THIS is egregious. My HEMA friend immediately says, "I'd like to change my vote." So here we are.

Here's the WIP thread for her. Here's my next piece.

This has sod all to do with miniatures, but I would be surprised if there were not people who might want one of these pins, for literally any reason at all.
I'll let the campaign speak for itself, as I usually do; it is pins. There are, as the title implies, representations for most of the common faiths, in a literal rainbow of ... well, Pride rainbows.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
