Anyone else think Jo is giving Michael a wicked hard time because her terrain is getting so much praise, and the critters are getting a "yeah the minis are great too" afterthought?   ::D:

 

Lol! I was just typing a big THANK YOU for all the kind comments on my terrain when your comment popped up  ::D: ...

 

...I'm just so relieved that you all like it. I was so nervous as it was my first go at sculpting so Michael can now say 'I told you so', and I can stop worrying.

 

As long as everyone's happy, that's all that matters...and at the end of the day...Michael is the Master, I'm his apprentice  ::D:

I like September for Burrows and Badgers II....

It may well be September; it depends on 3 things - how quickly I get the sculpting done, when Pete can fit us in for moulding and casting, and how quickly I run out of money and have to take commission jobs instead... :blush:

 

 

Mine aren't here yet, but they may have been one of the late orders, due to extra hares.....

Yours should be on the way - we didn't hold back any overseas ones. The six delayed ones were all UK, as that way we could send them first class and they'd still get delivered quickly. So expect yours any day now! ^_^

No, I loved the tents as well.  It's a great piece of scenery.  I wish I had a few more.

The terrain is just amazing. I agree about the tents, what a brilliant idea!

But I must say I am just a teensy bit miffed at not getting another one of those most excellent plastic boxes oathsworn used to come in. They are so great to store stuff in, and I can't get anything even remotely like them around here.

Yeah, the plastic boxes... sorry! I miss them too. They've become a casualty of the postal cost increases. The boxes themselves were about 50p each for the bigger ones, but the main problem was the weight; they were about 140g, and that usually tips us into a higher cost posting bracket. 

So the plastic boxes were costing us about £3 to £4 extra per backer. 

 

Because we went with the cardboard boxes this time, we only lost about £300 overall on the postage, which is much better than usual!

lol, I just wanted to make sure you knew what an awesome job you'd done on it. We're both really impressed with the terrain, and it really is a great idea to have tents (I bet you could sell bazillions of those to the war gamer crowd, for realz).

 

The minis themselves are just gorgeous as always. I can't wait for the next one, so I can have more foxes, maybe a lady badger to keep her man in line  :;): and more rats. The rats are just begging to have a swarm!  ::o:

So when should we expect the spin-offs?  "B&B 1888: Steampunk Anthro London", and of course "B&B 40k: In the grim darkness of the far future burrows, there is only war...and Badgers"

 

You know they'd sell  ::D:

 

I'd say never. Never ever ever. Because I don't like the idea at all. But... I'm fickle, and I'm already thinking of how I'd sculpt them, and how cool they'd look, so...  :blush:

 

Actually Dave, when you get around to a third wave I think a range of all-evil creatures is needed. The first 20 all have a noble demeanor, I think we need some baddies.

 

Interesting... I thought the baddies were evil enough... so I guess the question has to be, What are you looking for in an Evil Anthro? What would make them look wicked enough?

My .02 Lupins:

 

Have them wearing really ratty (no pun intended) clothing, with rips, tears, mismatched, beat up arms & equipment, etc.

 

Not that Bad Guys couldn't afford the good stuff, or otherwise acquire it. Hard to get the scruffy unshaven look with critters, but maybe some visible scars and torn tufts of fur here and there could add some surliness...

 

Meanwhile, checking mail box daily.

Canada Post hates me, still not no awesome scenery (oh, and some figs... ::P: ).

 

Funny, since robinh got his yesterday, and lives about a 20 minute drive from me.

Maybe he didn't actually order any, and just slipped the mailman a $20  :poke:

QFT. I've never even thought about campsite terrain, but when it became avaliable there was suddenly a tiny 30mm-scale tent-shaped hole in my soul.

 

The Hare Warrior is by far my favorite thing in this KS, though, and may have just become my new "when I'm good enough" mini.
