Perfect shape for easy casting  ::D:

Home from vacation. No box of mini's was waiting for me.

Hope I'm not one of those "30 days" people.

Your parcel was posted out to you on the 1st July so hopefully they'll be with you soon  ::):

Got a mail notice from Customs all the way from UK so I guess this is it... now I need to have actual time to go get it and fake being a nice guy in front of the Customs officers...

Time to put on your happy face and biggest smile  ::D:

I don't think you can be THAT exact, but since they will charge me for the shipping you paid as well (as per the package), and I don't want to go back and forth with them (especially because it is a long trip, and I need to print forms, pay tax, etc), you don't happen to have the actual amount in the shipping stamp, do you?

PM me with it if you have it; I will try to make a trip there tomorrow or friday.

Just show the little buggers, that will melt the heart of the grimmest bureaucrat.

Oh, they will open the package alright... and get their hands on your stuff. Once I got brushes and they even removed the protective caps on my precious W&Ns... had to risk being called out by actually taking the brushes out of his hands to place the cap back or they would've ruined the brushes

Edit: And then there is the story about the well-intended forumite who sent me modelling snow in a little bag and they held me for a long time testing if it was cocaine or something... I don't like Customs.

With our customs it depends, normally they let you open it yourself and only check by sight.

Some of them were pretty surprised when I showed them my Bones :-).

Of course I had no chance to show off the b&b-miniatures, packets from England only see a customs official if they look suspicious...

I on a reasonably regular basis have single malts shipped to me here in the States from Scotland.  Never once has customs opened a package or have I been charged any sort of taxes on any of it.  And we are talking a box with at least a dozen bottles normally.

So, I just had a crazy idea, and imma need some more of these minis, ASAP. Webstore upate thank you, please.

Not going to happen anytime soon unfortunately - it's on my 'to-do' list, but it never seems to reach the top!...  but if there's something you want, we've still got some stock left, so just tell us what and we'll sort something out for you.

Following up on the 'bad guys' comments. How about a group of three generic weasel/stoat/fox etc evil guardsmen, in uniform, that would work well in multiples?

Weaselly guards could be a thing.... I like the idea of that!

So do I! We've often had weird post to Canada - some stuff we've sent got there in 2 days, others have taken weeks. I have no idea why...

Honey Badger thug.

Good idea! He'd be a big old thing though - I think they aren't that much smaller than a regular badger.

Hedgehog knight.

Knights are always cool, because plate armour.   But, I really have a hankering to do some Landsknecht types with greatswords. Plate armour, feathered hats, and a puffed and slashed sleeve or two... I don't know why, but that's calling to me

To be honest, I'm not certain - it will have either been below 250g in weight, so £5, or a bit over, so £7.70... but unfortunately I can't say for certain which. Sorry! (I'll PM this to you as well, in case you don't see it.)

Incidentally, I've finally got the Alpha test version of the rules finished.... They are very much alpha though - I haven't even playtested them once in this form yet, so expect some rough edges...

cheers,
Michael
