Ok I just noticed the names and I don't want to be vain or anything but I see the character Nate the wanderer and hear Noble Prince Reinert and wonder, are they named after me?

Well, it was your idea in the first place, so it seemed like the right thing to do!  ^_^

AWESOME! I probably going in for the Party of five. I want to see what some of the vermin are though. I am MOST-DEF getting the Bunny.

I assume it possible to request multiple of one figure?

I hadn't really thought about it, but yeah, I don't see why not. As for the rest of the vermin, I'll get them done as soon as poss... I didn't make much progress today though! Too many emails and comments to reply to.

Platypus Paladin/Fighter type? Please? ^___^

I do want to do a platypus - but I'm not promising anything... there's still a lot of stuff I need to cover.

I would love to go all in if I could afford it, but il go in at a lower tier.

Any chance for add ons for single miniatures?

We haven't got anything planned for that; it's just not very easy to work out when they are all different sizes. I know a couple of people have pledged for the 'party of 5' pledge, and added £9 to add a badger to it. Other than that, I'll give it some thought, and see if we can sort anything out.

Right, I'm off to bed.  -_-

Thanks for all the support everyone! I think there's more backers from here than any other forum. But then, I didn't post pics of the sculpts to any other forums until today, so that's probably my fault...

I love the names you gave them Michael ^_^

I took ages! It was much harder making up names than it was sculpting them.

Names are the most difficult part of making any character.

I would love to back ... but I'm risking a total meltdown with my better half ... she took my pledge for Raging Heroes surprisingly calm ... the calm before the storm. Well ... maybe a pack of five minis and I'll paint one for her ...

Show your wifey the bunny and the cute little mouse and the vicious little shrew. Maybe that will increase her support level.

I just realised the Pound exchange rate and went  .

I acted based on loving the minis, and the idea, and wanting to support you. I do not know if I can keep the pledge, however

I had planned ahead for this. I don't like missing Oathsworn's KSs, because they're great deals on shipping and minis. I missed the dwarven tavern and determined not to miss any again, dagnabit!

I know, it's a bit of a nightmare right now - you'd think with our dodgy economy right now the pound would be nice and low; but no, it goes high instead. I apologise on behalf of our government's weird economic policy. Sorry!

Agreed - a few weeks ago I found a bunch of old character sheets from when I used to play D&D at school, and the names were a little bit embarrassing to say the least...

@Lovejoy, hey, it's not your fault... don't worry. And I can probably afford it anyway, I am staying at the 20-pack right now but might go to the 10-pack if it turns out to be too much for my wallet.

Anyway, yeay for a proyect started for fun, and able to be moved on as a serious business. Congrats.

Thanks to the goodness of a global business and kids not in college, my company is gracious with its silly money (bonuses).  Therefore I am in for the complete set and whatever else comes down the pike.

But given my general status in life right now, seeing a guinea pig as a character would do my heart good.

I'm guessing I'll end up at Party of Five plus Badger, but I reserve the right to bump that up depending upon new sculpts and/or skirmish game rules. ::):

As for the price of the pound, the ones who get hurt worse seem to be those who live in the UK.  the folks I know there get paid like they are being paid in dollars but everything seems to cost as much as if pounds were dollars.

to explain: an engineer might make 40k pounds a year which in us dollars is around 70k which doesn't sound bad.  that is until you realize that a burger cost 3 pounds and a basic e-camera cost 80 pounds.  So it actually makes them poorer than everyone else.  And the VAT does not help!

just some math for sufferers over there.  sorry to kind of wander off topic...

3 pounds is about $4.50 in the US. You'd be doing good to get a burger for that here from most places...

well, I am talking Burger King wopper jr level.

Better example: a chain hotel will cost 100-150 pounds.  Though for some weird reason the B&B factor is reversed over there.  you can find a nice one for 20 pounds a night where in the US they are usually the MOST expensive option.

Anyway, the corporate financial geeks love it when we hire UK engineers but hate it when we travel over there.

Prices in the UK aren't that high, a McDonalds cheeseburger is 99p, a Whopper meal is £6.
The real problem here is the price of property. In most of the country it's ridiculously high, around London it's insane. A combination of factors (very high immigration, foreign and domestic purchasing of property as investments, and the government doing nothing to discourage it). If you're on an average salary you cannot buy a house anywhere but in a run down area, and most entry level teachers, firemen, nurses are living with parents or in one room bedsits. If you struggle to pay the rent it doesn't really matter how much a cheeseburger costs.

Mm... being probably one of the very few here in a truly third world country, I am tempted to let you know our economics... then realised we are talking awesome minis here and is probably not the place. I am sorry I probably sparked a Pound/Euro/Dollar talk with my comment, Now,  if you want to be sad, read a bit about the Argentine Peso and our general income level... and then please consider it the the highest in southamerica.
