So one thing I've been wondering about UK and EU kickstarters is VAT. I know when I order things from online stores some of them remove the VAT if its going over seas and some of them just charge it to everyone regardless. Does it get added later for those who owe it or is everyone paying it?

Wilen there is an area called Beekeepers. If you want to post about the currency and your perspectives, you can post it there. I would love to hear it.

TBH I have stayed out of Beekeepers... wonder if I should join. I am quite hotheaded as it stands, plus different language, it would'nt be the first time I manage to piss people off and leave a forum.

You won't be the only one who makes people angry. Others are already doing a good job of that. And then with the same people that have made us angry, we show kindness and generosity. The debates can be intense, they can be silly, but I believe many of us have come out with better understandings of each other.

A lot of minis companies aren't registered for VAT - the government only forces you to add VAT when you have a turnover of about £80000 a year or more. So businesses turning over less than that don't add VAT to their products.

Our turnover doesn't get anywhere near £80k sadly, but at least that means we don't have to charge VAT.

you don't need to worry about pissing people off in Beekeepers, we self moderate each other remarkably well, even when tempers and emotions get involved. But that is something for elsewhere.

Now, about that Platypus.......
