I'm in for the early bird right now so I am currently in for the Wulfberg expansion but definitely considering dropping to the $100 level.  I don't really like the regular wolf zombie sculpt much, so I'd be getting it mostly for the wolf aberration, which I have mixed feelings about, and the characters.  But I'm happy about the value of the core set so far, and it can only get better.

I've been deciding whether to forgo the Wulfsburg set. Not sure the 26 minis and 2 tiles is worth the extra $50 plus maybe $7 shipping. The set doesn't say if it includes any scenarios.

Anyone else weighing the value of the Wulfsburg set?

The expansion doesn't have a lot of appeal for the price. The core box has all the value at this point but a lot of things can change in a month.

Same here. Not sure why CMON often overlooks the expansion (compared to the core box, Blood Rage's add-on wasn't much either) but let's see how things are in a few weeks.

Good comparison. I didn't get the expansion for Blood Rage either. The core game was incredible as is. If we played games with a fifth player it might've be a different story. I did get both expansions for Rum & Bones. Those added a lot to the core game. Their expansions really are hit or miss.

Given the number of $150 pledgers vs. $100, it's evident that backers think there's value in the additional $50 for the expansion and Gowan figure.

CMON thus doesn't have any reason to make the expansion any more attractive for backers. I've noticed that the S3 OLGS prices for the add-ons are pretty much the same as the KS prices. I'm guessing that CMON is still trying not to take too much business away from retailers (who will stock the base games, anyway, if they choose to stock any Z material at all).

Apparently. I think it may also partially have to do with how the KS is presented; the lists are all made as a combined box and expansion mix so it seems to be one thing.

With Blood Rage it was done very differently, the expansion also was presented a bit later than the core box and subsequently far less people pledged for both.

This is true; that's why I asked the question here.  It is slightly misleading visual information since nowhere does it have a graphic of all the stuff you get for a 100 dollars.

But it is also probably also true that most of the backers are such fans of the game that they want everything available.

I think the reason less people pledged for the expansion in Blood Rage was because there was no need for a 6th player expansion when the game only supports 5. That's probably the reason they added it later as well.

Unless the stretch goals are eventually specific to the Knight pledge (Wulfsburg extras) then the better deal is the Huntsman, since you will be able to get Wulfsburg at retail cheaper and if you just want the werewolves (and not worried about the extra 4 survivors), they are in the free SGs. Of course the exclusive survivor in the Knight Pledge is what will draw most people in to pay the extra $50 since the resell value is in the exclusives.

Well im looking at the just the core box.  I will try the game, but the big draw is the figures.

I mean I would like 22 wolves but I really only need 4-6 more.  I could buy 2 packs of reaper wolves for 20$ and get more poses.

or just sub in my existing cats and small bears.

Anyway I will probably go a little smaller on bones III, and put some more time into my side job, I can earn an extra hundred by the end of the month,  but it will come at the expense of time for video games, and painting.

I know most people have already made this trade-off, but I usually lean towards time (raising kids+ hobbies) over money.

New add-on: 20 zombies (5 different sculpts: monk, noble, serving wench, elven bard and jester) for $20 ... I'm tempted.

20 minis for $20 is a good deal. I really like the Monk and Jester. The wench looks a little plain and blocky.

Don't know if I would want/need multiples of the zombie jester, wench and bard for use in my RPG games/ mini collection. Although I could probably make the zombie jester to look like a demon with horns.

For me, solid value for Zombicide game related minis and cards. Maybe not so much so if used solely for non-zombicide purposes.

Overall, I am more than likely tempted to buy this add on.
