It looks like I had to go into my profile and configure how notifications are delivered to me.  Hopefully that's working now.

I was hoping to make it down, but the herd of deer that ran in front of my motorcycle this morning kinda changed that.  Hard to paint with a broken collarbone, separated shoulder and bruised ribs.  Thankfully the helmet is trashed instead of my head.  I was just getting back in the swing of painting after way to long with no mojo.  <sigh>  Ah well, y'all have fun!

that's terrible.  I can't really say glad your okay, cause that doesn't sound okay...

how bout glad your not dead?

That sucks. I hope your injuries heal quickly.

 

You're certainly welcome to come down, hang out, have lunch with us, and troll for good-looking, sympathetic members of the appropriate sex*.

 

* Presence of good-looking members of any sex not guaranteed. Also, not especially likely.

And... looks like I won't make it.  My in-laws have asked for the day off, and so I need to stay home with my wife.  She's doing great, but according to the doctor, can't leave her alone.  *shrug*

The last three meetings we've had a dozen or so people. It's fun, educational, and filling. (Because we usually eat at Oscar's Kabob & Gyros around lunch time, which is tasty and has lots of healthy* fats.)

Yeah, with my wife's health - which is doing well, but still requires attention - and the quite frankly redonkulous drive up to TEG, I'm going to give this month a skip as well.  Maybe June?  Maybe July?  Dunno.

Reminder , June 17th is our meetup (9 days from now).  It might be a bit of a madhouse this time as its both Free RPG day (which we have dealt with the last few years), and 40K 8th edition release.  Nate is double-checking to just make sure there is room for us (should be as there is no tournament for 40K planned that we can see).
