WIP 02990 Crypt of the Vampiress ++: Custom made casket of souls

Recommended Posts

Finally decided to go with blue ghosts. It's just more 80's. I like the 80's. :D

Put it here, just in case the smoky naked bits count as nudity.

Undead and Chaos are my favorite miniatures.

I love what you're doing there.

Keep posting pics.

Good paintjob on the ghosts so far.

Looking suitably evil

Gonna do these ghosts the same way. Based white, currently waiting for the first wash to dry:

Based and washed this one while I waited:

And although vampires claim to be horrible, horrible monsters, they are secretly all about eternal love,

picking flowers, bleaching teeth and comfortable coffin sheets. Just don't let them know you know. You know?

Love it, as long as they don't start to sparkle I love the vampire miniatures.

Eww, nastiest version of that figure I've seen yet. Definitely brings out the inhuman killer aspects.

I had a lot of fun this this one, On top of making him fly, I really wanted to make it look like he was from a black and white movie. Doing that but keeping everything  distinct with such a limited color palette was challenging. I really enjoyed this project.

      I hope you like it.

Hi everyone, I completed this one last night. 02181, Sirithis the Succubus sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This is a Dark Heaven Legends model. I painted her with Reaper MSP paint and mounted her on a 40 mm round base sku: 74033. Censored for the younger audience. Uncensored version of the pictures can be found on my blog or FB page.

Another tabletop lady - tried stronger source lighting and focused on trying to smoothly blend the very pale skin. Also managed to make a reasonable base with the greenstuff roller this time  - so overall happy to try these things out on her, including the flowers.

Seemingly unrelated to each other, but I swear all these minis were drying from the sealer by 11:23pm on 12/31/2020.

      Here are....Lidless Eye's Last Minis of 2020!

A Winter Wizard from Reaper Miniatures oh wait it's Santa, isn't it?

To back him up, some friendly Reindeer to back him up.

Wait, I'm being informed they're actually Grashrak's Despoilers from Warhammer: Underworlds

A creepy Scarecrow Puppet familiar from Reaper Miniatures.

Arik Axereaver, Barbarian, acquired as a bonus along with the Father Christmas.  His head seems to reflect everything in the lightbox.

And doing what we all should from the last year, the Fleeing Halfling from Warploque Miniatures.  He must know Johann.

Once she was loved, then betrayed and murdered in cold blood.
He got away with it and to keep up appearances he laid flowers on her grave.
Thinking he could be happy with his new found love, keeping it a secret for now.
In a while he would "meet a new girl" again and nobody would ever suspect the truth.

One last time to play the grieving widower, he walked to her grave with some flowers in hand.
Some other visitors looked at him, feeling sorrow for his loss.
He smiled inside, if only they knew.

      The others left the cemetary.
He laid down the flowers, no need to hang around if nobody was around.
Besides he was longing for his new girl, one more look at the tombstone, a shame she wouldn't let him go.
He had to free himself from her, too bad it had to end this way.
Goodbye! He whispered and turned around.

Oh, don't go yet! He heard a whispering voice say.
A cold wind blew around his neck, he turned around and saw her ghost emerging from the grave.
Two shiny daggers in her hands.
      You'll stay with me...forever!
