I made it home safe.

Halidor, not Haldir, and I made it home safe. And judging by some FB posts, Pat Chambers and Michelle B made it safe.

2 hr delay in leaving DFW, but home by 1:30a in NC

I thought platypi were totally unflappable? Must have been some nasty turbulence, I hope no one got hurt.

We missed our flight home but got another with better legroom. My credit card could be in danger but FireElemental and I are physically safe and waiting for our luggage.

The address for our rental car return corresponds not just to the car lot at the airport but also to a railroad crossing in suburban Dallas that is sort of close to the airport and about the right travel time away from Lewisville.

It was nice to finally meet SGHawkins. For the longest time, I was sure that was a sock puppet for ReaperRon, until it became abundantly clear that not only was it not, but that SGHawkins is female... hope to see you again next year!

Home safe as well after an uneventful drive in two stages. Now I'm trying to pretend that I don't have mowing to do outside.

 

Lovely to see that everyone seemed to be having a good time, especially the new folks.

My drive wasn't uneventful. Whenever I come to Texas someone tries to vehicularly homicide me. I had a grey Hyundai try to merge into me twice before I got out of Denton.

We made it home safe last night! I got everything organized into bags, and am now painting our new dungeon tiles!
