No meet and greet for me :(   next time I'll add the extra day. 

instead I get to go to the airport for my mother in law. 

- someone has to watch kids thursday & friday. 

 

but I have packed up my contest entries, and mentally packed everything else. 

this is going to be awesome.

I kinda want to have something entered in most/all of the different categories... And it's the only one I've done...

My personal decision was to only enter things I have painted in the last year. Reading the rules again for another thread said it was just for things not entered before, so I might have to reconsider that "last year" restriction I imposed upon myself.

 

See, I thought I had an "Open" entry but I didn't convert anything on the piece I was planning. Glueing a large lump of epoxy in a fit of rage doesn't really fit that. So I'm down to three "Painters" and a vehicle. Plus a set of three "Display Only" figures. I've got an old diorama I could bring up as well, or one of the figures that was converted for it.

 

But... if I keep my Shackles of Shame, I might be more motivated to paint for the next convention.

I set goals to enter one thing in each category this year, and then chose pieces to paint for that purpose. So i've managed to do that, hurray! (plus an extra diorama). Thankfully all are smaller than my entires last year, so i can fly with them. And all but one are Bones, so no fear of breaking

7.5 hours! 7.5 hours! I got so much to do before sleeping!  :wow:

 

Also, I am willing to employ the services of a miniatures veteran when I get there - I have 2 minis that have been badly injured. I can repay by watching closely to learn how to fix them, hugs, and cookies.

I'm sure that you'll have no shortage of people wanting to help. If someone mustn't beat me to it, I will.

 

How long will 3lbs of chocolate last?

About 5 minutes.

 

 

Why is everyone checking in today? I haven't flown in a while; is this some new thing I don't know about?
