I put my car keys with items I'm likely to forget. I'm typically the driver, it's hard to drive away without the car keys. It's not unusual that my keys are well refrigerated when I walk out the door.

I have ZERO packed. truck isn't loaded. trailer isn't loaded. talk about last minute scramble. 

Granted, its only a 3 hour drive, but still.

A...mace? If it's functional, I can't see con security being comfortable with you bringing it in, whether it's part of your costume or not.

Oh, I didn't mean airport security, I mean at ReaperCon itself. I was just thinking of this part of Reaper's weapon policy:

 

 

 

Weapons may only be brought as part of a costume, and must follow these guidelines: All weapons must be non-working and peace bonded.

 

Specifically the non-working part, since I don't know how one could render a mace 'non-working'. I just don't want him to lug it all the way to Texas and then not be able to use it! :)
