I am going to try, but it is place with 3 other cons in April that I like to attend, and only 1 or 2 can happen (one is local).  Rough.

Obviously, the only way to sort this out is to list them all and let the community decide.   :;):

I told them that they need an on site comic book dealer for those of us who had to miss Free Comic Book Day to be at ReaperCon. It's hard to juggle all my nerd-doms at once, you know?

I contemplated running out to a local comic book store this year. If they don't get a dealer on site and you need a partner in crime, find me next year and we'll find a shop.

Meet People -

Bring The Right Thing(s) To Paint

Come find me at the con next year. I'll gladly elbow people around to make some room for you and do introductions. At the very least I'll be happy to sit and paint with you.

Don't bring anything you HAVE to paint. Nothing sucks worse than wanting to go join an impromptu adventure but having to decline the invite because you have obligations. I bring a bunch of primed minis and half finished ones. The half finished ones are the best because you have a huge group of knowledgeable people help you through whatever your sticking point it. Even if i don't paint them at the con at least I have a plan of attack when I get home.

Says the one who conveniently forgot the catapult at home. *stares knowing of ludos plan *

Don't think I'll stop pestering you about it! [insert evil laugh]

Will do!

PS: There's a comic shop that's less than a 5 minute drive from the hotel.  Found it on accident yesterday while driving around deciding what to get for lunch during the gap between my morning class and the auction.

I had better not get my hopes up this year, I had really better not.

But I think I could enjoy y'all's excitement and make hypothetical plans. Just, y'know, no promises.

I have got ribbons to give folks, anyway, and I look upon that as a promissory note.

I very much enjoyed this year. I met a BUNCH of people I've known from Facebook and the Forums, but had never met in person. And my current enthusiasm is utterly dampened by the fact that I am as sick as a dog who ate the thing he found in the road; the Con Crud has struck many of us down, and I do not look forward to work tomorrow, because my peeps are already a bit bent with me for taking two days off last WEEK, despite the fact that they knew about it two months in advance.

She Who Dances With Mouselings is still kickin' herself. She couldn't go this year because her employers sent her on a week and a half junket all over the country. She very much wants to go next year. Particularly with the "vampires and gothic horror" theme...

"Vampires and gothic horror" theme?

We kept you in our thoughts. And commented when sitting around people licking brushes. Don't forget to bring a nice large wooden spoon if you decide to go! ^__^

To use to smack their hands for brush licking. If not those people, you could do us a favor and just hit colonel kane and maxstyles for us (terminalmancer, fireelemental, ludo, marineal, and myself). ^___^
