Overall, I'd pass on the dinosaurs, but I'm not going to hold it against anyone else to get them.

That's OK, I'll buy your share :;):

I would love some dinosaur bones goodness.  Especially a T-rex.

While I personally wouldn't get any dinosaurs, I won't object to them being in Bones 3, because I'm guessing there are enough people who would snap them up - and that helps drive stretch goals.

Only if they mind the base sizes and keep the poses dynamic. There is a ridiculous selection of dinosaurs available, but far fewer that are designed to fit into a specified area AND look dynamically active at the same time. I'd also prefer the dinos to look more fantastic, like how the Kong Movie had the crocodilian V-rex rather than the historical T-rex, but that actually might hurt sales since those buying the dinos might desire more RL accuracy.

I'd love to see a new mimic to go along with a piece of decor. Maybe a door or trapdoor mimic. Kinda like that tricksy caryatid column we got last time. It wasn't a mimic, but it turns the lovely Bones decor against the PCs.

I loved the caryatid column mostly because I can use the normal column here and there in my games just to worry the players. It's almost always just a piece of decor but one day... one day...  :grr:  DOOM!

Is that a rock monster with wrought iron fence wings?

I think it was supposed to be a grave yard golem.  From the front (as I recall) it looked like it was completely made of graveyard parts.

So it's a Goth Monster !

A Goth-em?

No, bad were-bat. We weren't talking about you.

Agreed on the monstrous set pieces.  Can never have enough carnivorous furniture.

In soviet theatre, scenery chews you!

Please don't do dinosaurs. I promised myself not to spend too much on this kickstarter

Depends what you call RL accuracy. To make Jurassic World, it was judged that dinosaurs without feathers would be better for sales, just like they found the velociraptor too small and the deinonychus too difficult to pronounce, so they mixed them up.

Originally they at least had the excuse that computer graphics was not sufficiently advanced to do feathers, but now the damage is done and everybody imagines their dinosaurs featherless.

I love the idea of a trap door in the decor... doesn't have to be a mimic - though it could be >.>

Id also like a cage - one with no base that is large enough to put over a character - you could hold NPCs in it or it could be a trap that falls down on your players.

I actually just did a big post of the decor/npcs/animals in the Bones you would like to see thread... it seemed more appropriate place for a huge list.

Way I see it, most people have been imagining featherless dinosaurs for quite a bit longer than Jurassic Park. When I was a kid, the only dinosaur with feathers was Archeopteryx. Now they're suggesting that T-Rex looked like a giant dire chicken, along with tons of other dinosaurs. It's all well and good, but I like how they sneaked in a nod to the dinos not being "accurate" in Jurassic World based on matching perceptions.
