Watch June 8th come up and they launch on time.  This whole past month has been to screw with our heads.

I could see that. Or even launching on the 9th...

And ReaperBryan would be all, "It's the 9th, it's later than the 8th. So it was technically delayed." :)

I can stop to prove it I won't back.

Well, back a little, that doesn't count right?

Or maybe back some little more, but it is my own choice out of free will, so iḿ not addicted right?

I might buy some more... but those I really need, so that doesn't count..

I buy all...It is my right!!! Im not addicted, I can stop anytime, I will stop at Bones 4 ( or 5)

I'm with you!

Bones 6 is a definite "pass" for me. ::P:

By any chance is there any sort of all-in-one-place collection of "sneak peeks" for the Kickstarter?  I know there have been a few photos from the convention floating around in forum threads ... but those tend to get swallowed up in all the posts.

Is there some way we can sign up to get an email when the Reaper Bones 3 Kickstarter launch date is announced?

Ways we will be announcing the new date:

  1. forums
  2. Facebook
  3. Twitter
  4. the front page of reapermini.com
  5. via e-mail to the backers of Bones 1
  6. via e-mail to the backers of Bones 2
  7. via our Newsletter, which you can sign up for by logging in at reapermini.com and checking the box under account details that says you'd like to receive updates and emails and things.

We are also planning a launch countdown timer to be added to reapermini.com.  It is our hope that the variety of announcement types means that each potential customer will be reached by at least one of them, and the ones that are not will be reached by our fans discussing this amongst themselves at local stores, game groups, other forums, and in person.

I'd like to address the idea floated earlier that the more prominent an established companies coordinate their start times.

We look for announcements of planned launches, or make guesses based off of timelines we have evidence to support (Company X launches a new project every 3 months, etc.) and go from there. We seek to find a viable time slot for ourselves, but our chief concern is readiness.  Competition for your enthusiasm and dollars only makes both projects better.

There is no overt coordination, where Ed calls Chern An and Jim and they pull out calendars and make plans. We are all friends, and we are all competitors and we are all looking out for ourselves.

Bryan,

Thanks for the information! however, as a new rule, you must post a picture of a Bones 3 Mini in each of your posts... no duplicates allowed.

Sincerely,

Those who want to see more!

Hey everyone, here's a 77530, Harrowgate graveyard short fence sculpter by Bob Ridolfi. I used this fence to test the colors that I'll use on my gothic church.

      Here is the list of colors I used;

      Story

Eerie in the contrast of their lethal size and silent movement, ScorpionMechs are deployed on the orbital and planetside battlefield when no quarter is to be given to the enemy, and none expected.
                  They're colony killers.

You send them in when you want the enemy base and any feeble defenders protecting it razed to the ground.
These scuttling terrors can chop enemy armors in half in close quarters or pound them to pieces from a distance.  Using a variety of modular payloads, the ScorpionMech can tailor its weapons suite to the mission, whether it be cold, quiet up-close killing, napalm and gatling cascades at ballistic distances, or missiles beyond the horizon.
(Pre-production 28mm ScorpionMech sample shown with additional Viper Suit weaponry.  Waldo and PugBots shown for size ref)

Though they usually make their way overland to the target, there are rumors of ScorpionMechs deploying from orbit with bolted-on belly packs containing fuel and maneuvering thrusters.  The thought of an orbital insertion of these lethal machines is terrifying, but not beyond reason.  There is even a confirmed case of a jetpack-equipped ScorpionMech being used to rip a pirate raider's ship to pieces during an attempted boarding action.  Needless to say, scratch one pirate ship.
Viper suit pilots may try and put a brave face on it, but when faced with a ScorpionMech, they know that the best place to be is somewhere else.

Coral Golem for my local paint club entry.
I wanted to do something different, It seems the norm to paint everything in bright colors do I wanted to simulate all the coral being dead.
