After July 4 would be great when I get my (small) raise. More bones!

I have Dwarven Forge and Myth pledge managers to worry about, so the extra time is fine by me.

I only have to worry about raging heroes but I'm sure I have six months+ before that pledge manager opens and I can add more funds.

DF let me down this year so I have a bucket load of money I'd set aside to throw at them that looks like Reaper gets now. I have way more minis than I'll ever need by how far in on Bones II I went and not enough space to properly display/use everything, but I don't care. I need something to be happy/excited about, ready to throw my money at Reaper again.

I hear you Jessie. DF 3 looked way too niche unless one intends to run WFRP with heavy mini use or one's D&D games have high collateral damage in-town battles often. Also IMHO the insides were going to way too cramped unless one bought a LOT.

DF1 was great for me since I run 10' wide corridors = 3 characters side by side as in the 1E DMG; specifically because I don't like overly cramped dungeons. Players need room to move, I need room to fit big hungry monsters in the dungeon.

So, are you taking suggestions yet? ('Cause I still want to see Gauth come to BONES.)

I would love to see a few things, but I expect that it is a little late for requests.

If not, Bones Couatl, Rakshasa, more mindflayers, dinosaurs (as mounts and without riders, too), and a few others come to mind.

I really hope they either redo the gauth sculpt like they did with kaladrax or at least just put the normal scupt into bones I have the metal version but like him so much I wouldnt mind a second

Gauth has eluded my clutches for far too long.

I'm hoping for a redo. Original Gauth had too much bipedal influence in posture and body structure, IMHO. Maybe it could work for a mini for Borys of Ebe or some other human turned dragon, but i generally prefer more quadrupedal looking than Gauth. Which is why I've been VERY happy with most of Reaper's Bones Dragons.

Me too. I like Gauth, but an updated Gauth would be even better. Pewter Gauth in Bones might be subject to the same stability issues that plagued Verocithrax and Deathsleet.

I've no doubt most of Bones 3 is already laid out, but... You never know when something suggested might capture someone's fancy at Reaper HQ and still get added in.

The pack donkey they released last year, so you can buy five and have a baggage train.

To be honest, I cannot complain as there is a large wardog in the pictures, which could be used as mount, pack dog, etc.

The pack donkey is metal though, not Bones.

If folks want to create an baggage train at an affordable price, we need a Bones version.

Yes, I budget for games, but that budget is only $100/month.

Me too.  That's why I love KS.  I can spend $100 from April 2016 when a KS delivers, today

Yup... but then I budget for everything.... I have a mortgage...

But again... my currently monthly entertainment/fun/hobby category is tapped out (I stole from it (and house stuff and house repair and car repair etc) to buy ceiling fans..... and I still need to get them installed)

I hope there will be a lot of nice models in bones III.

Although I missed the first two though, really a pity that I missed out on so many affordable stuff!!

Which can still be bought (on eBay) but often for 400% of the KS price. Especially the big ones!

Fireforge games will be launching their dwarf faction for their Forgotten World range. I really enjoyed their northmen line which were basically game of thrones not Stark warriors. They had undead in that same Kickstarter.

so these will be heroic 28mm hard plastic multipart figures. This is what’s been shown so far.

There will also be foot troops with spears and hand weapons. And both male and female will be on sprue.

they haven’t confirmed yet, but if it follows with their other Kickstarter, there should be resin shields and resin heroes available too.

I was a little surprised to not see this already here.  I just got a 48 hour notification on a game called "Lurkers of the Deep" - it's apparently an expansion to a miniatures game, but in addition to the game they're also selling a bunch of 20s/30s pulp/cthulhu style minis.  (And a number of buildings, too.)  I'm not interested in the game, but I put down a 30 pound pledge to get a bunch of the figures and get the various free stretch goals figures.

There's only another 46 or so hours left, so I guess that means it ends early on March 1st.

My partner for the Secret Sophie exchange this year was NecroMancer and they requested demons or some other stuff, so I painted the Queen of Hell.  About the same time I had ordered a 3D printer and I had found a base that kind of matched an idea I had in my head.  The printer was going to ship on time, then it wasn't, then it was, and finally came in just in time to print my display base. It is from the celestial pack by Archvillain Games. It's 100mm plus some overhang. For a bit of additional flair I added some blood imps to the base.

One thing about pre-made display bases though is they can be next to impossible to actually use if they are not designed well.  This base is an example of that as there is so much rubble that I had to carve away spaces for feet or build up the area with a bit of milliput to give them something to stand on. Since ancient statues were actually painted I decided to go with that and put a simple face on the bit of statue that remained.

The Queen was actually painted before my printer arrived and because things hadn't gone crazy at work yet, I actually had time to paint her properly.  I went for a stylized NMM on her armor.  It was the first time I had tried NMM this way.  It worked but I need some more practice to really sell it.  I didn't want her to look like some cheap plastic figure (even though she kinda is ) so instead of going red like the blood imps I made her skin mostly human and then put the orange/red/purples in the midtones and shadows.

Her wings don't fit in my tiny photo setup so...

And with wings. They were not attached for shipping and needed a bit of support, so ignore the paint bottle.  Bones are evil.  Mold lines suddenly appear everywhere.  And for better or for worse, a year from now her wings will sink toward the earth, but they should rotate and touch the base.

A few extra pics I took, if anyone wants to look

I have me a bit of a dubious, largely because I'm not certain these will, in fact, work for anybody. But. Still.. the concept is pretty damn cool.

"Tilt Five is a whole new way to play games, in Augmented Reality (AR), with freaking holograms!
When you slip on the Tilt Five glasses and look at the game board, a vibrant 3D world opens up to you.  Suddenly chasms seem to drop infinitely into your table, and game characters and monsters spring up from the game board.  This is gaming unlike anything you've experienced before.
"When we started designing the Tilt Five system our focus wasn't on the technology for technology's sake.  We wanted to provide an amazing gaming experience that blends the things you love about video games and board games. And we wanted it to be just as fun when playing solo, together with your friends, or even when you're apart."  Jeri Ellsworth, Co-Founder & CEO "

Be interesting to see if this lives up to itself.
