01559: Malena - Exchange mini

So, I got two of these, and my exchange partner (who doesn't know this is for them!!) said they use minis mostly for D&D gameplay. I figured it was a good way to paint up some cloth and work on blending. She has the smallest eyes I have ever painted, so they are not great. :)

Working on more blending after this, but at least she's done!

Pcktlnt, ultramarine blue over nightshade purple. 😆 I am still waiting for my nightmare black to come in, so I went with purple. Glad you like it!

I haven't looked too closely at my copy of her yet; are those markings on the scroll sculpted, or did you freehand them? If so, how?

I freehanded them. I used brown liner, let it dry most of the way, then watered up my brush and scrubbed some off. :)
