Agreed. I've picked up my copy of her several times, and after 5 minutes of trying to figure out what's what, I always put her back and grab something else.

You've done a heck of a job with her, though.

I don't know if anyone could achieve it on the Bones version due to soft details, but the metal version painted by Derek Schubert shows the areas that could be left as skin:

I like this close-up which shows, if you magnify enough, not all the blends look as smooth as you might guess.

Yes, you too can paint like a master painter in only *mumble* easy lessons. ::):

Thanks, I didn't look up the metal version of her. I think it'd be impossible to do exactly that on the bones version, just no way to see all those lines. Maybe like someone else mentioned I could have given her an exposed belly (that part was pretty obvious).

Love the eyes! Eyes are tough and you are making good progress on them!

Thanks they looked a little derpy to me, but after a couple tries I couldn't get them any better so gave up. Seems like sometimes the sculpt has the eyes at different heights. Maybe a better painter can make do but in my case if they are different heights the person usually ends up looking like cartoon birds should be spinning around their head.
