I guess I never have liked any of the non-normal shaped dice that have been produced.  While creative and cool looking, they always seem to fall short in actual use.

I like to collect dice, so I just pledged. Maybe they'll work in real life, if not, eh, they look cool!

_{I can be moderately disturbed about the price point though.  $25 for plastic dice is a bit too rich for my blood.  I only paid $28 for my stone dice.  Besides, with the exception of the D4 I like the shapes of the standard dice...}

Not a fan. I like the dice to roll, not just fall flat. Some of the dice seem hard to read. The flat face is too close to the next face.

That's my problem as well. I like rolling them across the table. Their 4-sider is pretty cool, but the rest I'm very meh about.

I think this idea would work better if they were a set of custom dice for a board game or maybe a simplified RPG in a box  aimed at a younger crowd.  Then they could really roll with the the die is your weapon conceit.

The only one I like is the d4. It looks easier to read than the standard version.

The d20 UFO / roulette wheel is pretty funny.  And now I'm envisioning a set of mini roulette wheels with the same number of notches as dice.  Since, let's face it, with the crazy things players try to do, they're always gambling with their life anyway.

D4 had promise but dice KSers scare me. I have yet to back one, but I have a feeling that they have a low success rate...based on purely anecdotal knowledge at best.

DCC dice from Impact!  was delivered successfully, and they have an excellent KS record anyway.  If they do another dice campaign I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

I pledged for rocket dice back in 2012, and got the first set recently, as in last month. Special dice take time...

I didn't know about the rocket dice mess or I wouldn't have posted this. I have read up on it now and see why many people have had a negative reaction  I just had a bit of nostalgia when I saw the dice. They reminded me of my early days of playing  D&D and later AD&D 1st ed
