WECLOME TO THE 2015 HUNGER GAMES 54mm CHALLENGE.

ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GO!!!

AND WERE OFF!!!

Ok. that's was the spectacular part, now the boring stuff.

I used the new Vallejo Surface primer ( after washing and cleaning the mini Bust).

First coat applied.

I brush it on, seems to work well.

Although it needs a second coat on the flatter surface areas I think.

Not sure if it will hold paint otherwise.

Yeah, I find the white Vallejo primer tends to need at least a couple of coats (plus a close inspection for bubbles).

Wish it worked like the black primer, that stuffs awesome.

So I guess I need the black one too then...

After an accident with spray cans, I'm converted.

Rather a few coats by hand and a good result then almost killing a mini..

That's usually all it takes. I know that's what got me converted. Plus winter.

Did you see, they are making a full Tuma figure. On a smaller scale of course. :-)

I found that the Vallejo White Surface primer ( brush on) didn't cover all and displayed some bubbles too.

After some searching on the net, I read that the black one is perfect, but the white does this sometimes.

Remedy, put in a drop of black.

So I put in a drop of black and got myself a nice grey primer.

New start.
