Just got home an hour ago and am mosty unpacked. I did not fair well in my speed paints nor in my contest entries. Then again I didn't expect to. I'll have some things for the show off tomorrow. It was nice to meet Klarg and Thes. Hope to see you all again next year.

Almost over...how did everyone do in their speed paint sessions? I was in the Wyrd Minis 5:00 session yesterday, which was an interesting experience, not unlike a wargame club group painting session. It turns out that I'll be in the final round today at 1:00. I was glad I was in the round I was, though, with a zombie dog of some sort to paint, rather than in the previous round, with some sort of huge steam golem. I'll put a picture in show-off...

I hope your final round went well. I did manage to place 2nd in both my speed paints(photos will be posted to help my August RP Challenge count), but I planned on leaving early Sunday so bowed out of the final round. I hope you post pictures of your final round as well, your Zombie dog looks great and lots of fun to paint.

I am sorry I didn't get to meet you James, when I looked for people Wednesday it may have been a bit too early as I didn't see anyone painting or donning brushes. Although I was pretty sick Wednesday and ended up going to bed early in an attempt to get better.  Another bummer I didn't see Thes this year which is odd as I usually at least see her in passing. I hope everyone is well and had a great time. And James I look forward to seeing your entries posted as I spent a fair amount of time looking at most of them and would love to know which were yours.

It's ok. I got to that spot a little bit later than planned, as I had a slight ergency to take care of before I began.

At any rate, here are my Gen Con entries as well as my Pathfinder Character that I painted for Friday. And for good measure the only speed paint that would photograph.

I got to hang around and paint with EvilJames and his wife a bit on Wednesday night. It was a nice way to ease into the con. I dod not manage to make it to dinner on Thursday, although I was able to swing by the Friday speed paint to at least say 'hello' to Thes and James.

I caught Bryan and Shannon in the halls long enough to greet them, but not much more than that.

Next time, I will have to reserve even more free time to socialize.
