Freeblades: Creatures of Faelon by DGS Games, LLC

They do have some really nice minis and the reps I've met have been good guys.

For small skirmish games, I think the rule set is pretty decent as well.

I was impressed with their  figures when I saw them at Reapercon.

Me too, which is why I bought I think 4 of them.

I bought a couple of faction sets when they were at ReaperCon.  First, because they looked nice.  Second, because the person at the booth was very friendly and passed along his excitement for the game.

Gotta love people who believe in what they are doing.

I'm in for the monster set.

Only 4 days left!  They are close to goal but still need more supporters.

IMO the sculpts are looking great. And I love the objective markers set, lot of uses for that.

I've got it on reminder for me, there are a few figs I like, but I'll have to see if I have the cash to back them in a couple of days.

They need to update their front page, or something--apparently one may order previously produced minis through the KS, too, or at least their one new GenCon release mini. And it is a stunner. Thinking about pledging for the Saryad and the Lioness.

I am really digging a number of the minis--not so much the current project but stuff already in production. Since they're offering them via KS, I decided I want to pick some up. I asked this dumb question of them, just to get things clear:

I'd like to back just for some already-existing minis--can I do so from the $2 level? If so do I add the price of the minis plus the $2 base pledge? And does shipping need to be added?

And DGS answered:

...[Y]es - you can pick the $2 level and then pledge whatever your total is for the figures you want. No, you don't have to add on the $2. If your total is less than $11 you have to add $2 shipping for US (and then int'l charges if those apply).

As an Example:
So you could decide you wanted to two typical single foot models for a total of $12. Select the $2 pledge, and when you go to the next page to confirm - change the amount to $12. When the project is over, you'll just tell us in the survey what figures you want sent to you.

So, yeah. In case that comes up for anyone else.

I feel a little weird not directly backing what's currently going, but I'd like to throw them some money and get some cool minis, and since they're offering it I guess it's cool. Still, weird lol.

I really like The Lioness. That would be a great barbarian character figure for just about any fantasy setting.  The saryad looks nice too, good action pose on a creature you don't see a lot of figures for.

SITHRAH is a sci-fi about a little girl trying to find her father after their plane crashes in a unfamiliar land. That's when she starts seeing an invisible creature, called SITHRAH, who has been following her around. It's not long until she runs into a young man named Dino who is running from his own ghosts. Together they set out to find her missing father wherever the evidence leads.
Book 4 will focus on their journey across The Deep to try to find Light City.
This series will be 6 books long.
Sithrah has been a big experiment with the comic format by mixing subtle prose with comic panels. My hope is to blur the lines between comics, children's books, and novels without making it jarring for the reader.
Most of my inspiration comes from the comic artists of the 90's when I refined my drawing style. Later I became influenced by Miyazaki's movies and storytelling and have been trying to make comics that have a similar depth and feeling.

This is by Bob Naismith, who has a long pedigree in figure design.

I really like all of it, especially the hoverbikes. But the prices are steep. I might buy a couple of display pieces, wish I could afford an army.

Skirmish game in the Kings of War setting.  There's a rules preview link in the kickstarter description.

For new models there are two forces to choose from initially.  Big images in the Hidden Contents below.
