Rainbow Voodoo (Reaper 14512 Rhasia)

Well, I've seen the pictures, and I'm very happy with her. You've done a fantastic job, and the NMM on the dagger blade is really well done. Lovely sheen.

It's the death of six...or, in this case, one...rag babies (My erstwhile friend Karen's West Virginia way of expressing a truly horrible way to go)! Now that I got that out of my system, she is LOVELY with WONDERFULLY expressive eyes. Your brushwork, basing, & color selections are as BEAUTIFUL as always. VERY WELL DONE!

I voted & got treated for doing so to several more of your OUTSTANDING creations including your avatar...INSPIRING WORKS to say the least!

Again, an entry for a painting league at another forum.

Susie and the Snow Goons! RUN!

In homage and reference to the seminal comic strip Calvin and Hobbes. Here we have Calvin's instantly recognizable wierd snowmen, and Susie, his neighbor/friend/schoolmate and part-time nemesis in addition to Calvin and Hobbes themselves.

Search for Calvin & Hobbes. You will not regret it.

We're walking in the air (...)
      Suddenly swooping low
      On an ocean deep
Rousing up a mighty monster from his sleep
      And walking in the air
We're dancing in the midnight sky ...

I used Warlord Games WGS-STG-10 Melting Snow for the snow on the bases.

      Short Wart's Cohort Mort

Being a band of bony retribution soon to cross the Brandywine and come a-knocking on little round doors under the hills.

Most of these skeleton minis are from the same second hand purchase where I got the zombies that were featured a few week ago. I got the incomplete undead mammoth off Ebay several years ago, and Short Wart himself is an Oathsworn Halfling Necromancer. All minis have been given 3D printed bases, most of them 25mm.

There are a lot of pics beneath, although some are distictly unfocussed, as if a dark power did not wish to be documented...

Yet another of my entries in a painting league on another forum

      Pride and Joy
A nice walk in the park for the Lovecrafts.

Sorry about the pics being a bit blurry, I am still struggling with the camera. It seems it is not meant for such small items.

Most of the miniatures are from a recent 2019 kickstarter by Bear's Head Miniatures, apart from the large Star Spawn that is from the game Cthulhu Wars by Petersen Games. One of the kickstarters for that game had an option for one each of the miniatures extra, and this one is from that set. I hacked off the moulded base it originally came with so I could have similar style bases for the whole family.

Lots of pics and such below, go on, you know you want to click it:

      "Bring Out Your Dead!"
I envision this as a wandering band who collects the dead. Sometimes they need to make ther cargo dead first. Being death warmed over themselves, they do not know what else to do with their unlives.

lots more pictures beneath the click:

So, after my initial pledge, I spent much of the past month following KS Reaper Bones V. While watching the marker grow painfully slow in the second week, while anxiously wondering if the last dragon would be unlocked, I was painting some minis in front of my PC.

Here the first one: Bonehenge Priestess. I tried an unconventional scheme, which I hope worked.
