Same here. I said it before: Bones III core set suits my tastes and needs even better than did Bones II (werebear, werecroc, werebat ... weapon sprue ... TORTURE CHAMBER ... Donkey ... Ogres).

For me personally, the pics of the painted dragons on the Reaper store do more to sell the dragons to me than the unpainted pics shown on the KS.  Often the unpainted versions look a little awkward or out of proportion.

 

But the sheer awesomeness of the DDS2 dragon sets the bar pretty high for me.

My pledge is currently either spot on at $160 or a bit high, depending on whether I get the full core set or whether I just add on the bits I want.  The core currently has to add a few more cool things to win me over. 

 

Which is fine, honestly.  I know eventually something awesome is bound to turn up... 

 

I've seen similar comments to this a couple of times, and it honestly baffles me a bit. I think this Core has more wins and must-haves for me than either of the previous two, and I didn't have many complaints about the previous two.

 

Likewise, the only Optional pledge I've turned down thus far was Paint Set 2, because I already have 1/3 to 1/2 of it (and would rather order the remainders immediately rather than wait, if I decide I must have them).

 

Different (paint) strokes for different folks, obviously.

 

 

I want paint set A.And B.

There are a few in B I own allready, I figure by the time they get here, I will need the replacements.

 

I actually hope there will be more paints preferably new ones.

That would be nice but they only released two sets in each of the last two kickstarter.

There were 4 sets in Bones I, but only two of them were new colours.

That one and Narthrax are my favourite reaper dragons made so far. They're just such dynamic sculpts! They curve, wind, their wings billow... theres a realism to them that I have to imagine can only be done in Bones, hence the fact that many of the metal-to-bones conversions haven't impressed me as much.

That's pretty much exactly where I am. I have selected around $30-40 worth of the core set so far (plus a bunch of add-ons). There are a bunch of cool sculpts in the original 30 that I really like, but none that I have to have before retail. As more cool bits get added to the set, I may tip over and pick up the whole thing. I am not at all averse to it, I'm just not quite as "all-in" as I was for the last two campaigns.

 

I'm sure it will all work out.

I'm pledged at $300, but I only got $160 allocated (core, all the dragons and giants). I reckon enough will come up to take up the rest and hopefully cause me to raise my pledge.

 

Similar boat. I think I am at about $200 pledged so far. I have the income at this time of year to go much higher if I wanted, but not going to get things I don't want. I think for now I have 2 out of the 3 dragons in there. But I keep flip flopping on them. I like the Marthrangul sculpt the best, am sort of tempted to get the others just based on what a discount I know it is. But I have a LOT of dragons from Bones I/II. So those all might drop out.

 

Loving the core. Probably the only weirdo here who despite having multiples of a lot of Bones I heroes, and 2x everything in the core from Bones II, am still okay with more heroes. I know I will have fun painting them and get good use out of them eventually when me or someone from my gaming group picks them to play. The mister likes the lizardmen. The chill out, torture chamber, and ogres - so glad those made it in. Being in the core feels like a free gift. Definitely in for giants, mouselings, and the first paint set. Have too much of B to spend the money on it. will definitely be in for the undying lords. Those look fantastic, and can see myself getting an extra death at retail, or possibly an extra set in this if there isn't enough for me to spend my money on. Really hoping future stretch goals make this pop. I was really far into Bones II and had to hold myself back from ridiculous to a still really high pledge amount. Would love to have to argue myself off the ledge of spending again, just need more stuff to encourage me to do so.

Pledge $150 on day one & I've yet to even get near that amount. I wanna say I've got a total of 60-65. Seriously thinking of toning it down thou not till near the end, holding out more stuff I'm interested in will get released.
