Man, today is slow. Don't people want awesome Undead Lords?

...not big enough???

there was a prepainted collosal red dragon put out as part of the DDM line some years back.  pictures can be found via google  one site lists it at about 16 inches tall and it is sitting on its backside reared up and breathing fire at thr ground.  overall size is hard to compare between pictures, but I think this one is bigger at lerast in the body.

I don't know exactly how they stack up, but Tianot certainly looked gigantic and impressive to me.

I own Kaladrax from Bones I, and as cool as it is, I can't help but feel that it is more terrain piece than monster. I'm not sure what I'd do with a "miniature" that was much bigger.

I suppose tastes vary. My problem is that I doubt I'd ever paint something the size of that titan.

...not big enough???

No kidding, right?

I mean we've gotta store it somewhere. My wife would probably be cool with it being the centerpiece on the Dining Room table, but she's probably the exception.

Setting aside any questions of storage, actual usability as a game piece, etc (which all are highly subjective and different from user to user), the colossal red (mine, at least, which I just measured) is about 13.5 inches tall, including the 1/4 inch thick base. So, at apx. 15 inches tall, the Tianot model is slightly taller, and looks to be much more dynamically posed. I suspect it will take more space on the table than the DDM red.

..... Maybe now I need one. I can put it between the human sized skull candle holders on the dining room table :D

I hear you.  From the last Kickstarter, I picked up Khanjira knowing full well that it would be a long time (if ever) until I'd ever attempt painting him (Mashaaf too, for that matter, even though she's significantly smaller).

I feel that my skills wouldn't be up to the task of painting the gorgeous minis, or these gigantic ones.  When they're as gorgeous and gigantic as Tianot is...

Well, at least I have a goal to aspire to.

I have a pretty big back yard. I was kinda hoping for a 15' tall one to freak out my neighbors/put out front for halloween.

You can always hope that the mold makers will misread their instructions.   There is a good chance that they are not so familiar with imperial units and the '/'' convention for feet and inches.

What, again!?

I'm guessing that Reaper is going to be double-secret careful about that after the last scaling "incident".

Plus, it's just as likely that she'd wind up 15cm tall, and then we'd all be sad.

impressively, she'd still rank pretty favorably among Reaper's existing chromatic dragons, which mostly stand in the 12-20cm zone.

Y'know, I'm not sure I want to know the answer. Then again, numbers and I are not good friends.

And I'm pretty sure it's not possible to have too many dragons. Why, the idea alone is unthinkable! >.> I'll .. work something out for storage.

But I am sort of hoping to see a few more minis with mounted characters riding.. *eyes list of animals-that-can-be ridden* Uh, let's see here. Riding wolves, direwolves, dire anything, really, dogs, goats and the occasional giant chicken (by any other name). If one of them was a human-ish female on the back of a bad*cough* direwolf, that would be a million kinds of perfect. ^^;

Hey, I can hope. I'm seeing invisible PCs there, and I remember saying wistfully at Paizocon that that would be awesome.

Is there anyone that would like to volunteer to help throw numbers in a spreadsheet (Google Sheet)? I don't think I can maintain what I have been doing, but I also don't want to open the sheet up completely to the public to maintain due to trolls.

All you need to know how to do is type the number of backers and pledge total in the appropriate box at the top of a given hour. Would be nice to have a number of us watching out for this...

You can PM me with your email if interested and I will invite you to the sheet.

last scaling incident?  care to share for those of us unaware of this incident?

In the first KS the undead dragon Kaladrax was supposed to be smaller than Nethermaul (who was supposed to be the biggest dragon in the KS). He was misscaled when they cut the mold and he ended up being significantly larger than intended. That's how a $10 add on dragon in KS ends up retailing for $75.
