24 Hour Prediction (By 0300 Reaper Time Tomorrow): The next 24 hours is tough to predict, because there will likely be a reveal for the second part of Expansion 1 as well as an Add-On. I say that is less than 24 hours we will be at $1.25m and 9900 backers.

Okay, here's all the infobits from Tuesday the 14th (sorry I'm not more caught up, I had work literally all day today  <_< But I should be all caught up by tomorrow (meaning Thursday)).

Everything is from ReaperBryan (haven't had time to go through Ron's posts yet :( ).

A little bit of info regarding ROW postage/shipping/taxes:

@Nadim Alam - we cannot do anything to alleviate Taxes. Those are levied by your local government, at a national or other level, and goverened by laws we have no say in. We mark our packages in a manner consistent with international law, as required.

We fully accept that other companies have different resources - some have Distribution deals in the EU, Australia, or Asia. We do not. Some are willing to bend the laws on customs declarations. We are not. Breaking the law, especially intentionally, carries both stiff monetary fines and risks costing us the legal ability to export goods forever. It's not ideal and it's not the situation we want, but the alternative (never shipping outside the US ever again) is far far worse.

@Jonas Bostrom - we did consider an option like "Core set only, no add-ons" that would have a flat shipping costs and an easily calculable tax amount, but felt that cutting EU/AUS/etc backers out of the ability to purchase the balance of the project was even more unfair to them than the unfortunately high and painful shipping and taxes.

@Reaper: One thing you actually COULD do for the customs charges is selecting the right category for your product. For Bones 1 you didn't label it at all, so I had to go to the customs office and describe and show to them what was inside. Based on that they selected a category that carried no duty charges. For Bones 2 you labelled it with some category that came with duty charges.
@Niels - we worked with an official from Dallas Customs Office to find what they said the correct Category was. I know it was a subset of Toys/Scale Models, although I do not myself know the precise code.

Random useful/interesting information:

@Raymond Skelley - here is a video of how the metal miniatures are made  Currently we have no videos of the plastics, but that is something we can probably start on. [EDIT: Sorry mods, I tried several times, but can't figure out how to get the video to stop embedding itself]

@Richard Lehmann - Savage Words miniatures are licensed to us by Pinnacle Entertainment, and are complements to their Deadlands games in their Savage Worlds rules system. They have their own rules and backstory, and the art is their IP (used under license)

@Richard Lehmann - Chronoscope is not a rules set, and Savage Worlds rules are found on their website, not on ours. We do not license the rules only the art for the minis.

How i can use the weapons on the minis?
@Jorge Robles - using a hobby knife, carefully remove the current weapons form the figure you want to modify. replace with the new weapon, and superglue in place. Detailed instructions can be found on our Forums under the Conversions section.

@Bryan/Reaper - Is Reaper publishing an adventure for sale or partnering with someone or some other company to produce such an adventure?
@Benjoshua - We are not planning on publishing an adventure, and invite our fans to feel free to write their own!

@Shalie Gibson - we will be updating our website in early August to include information for ReaperCon 2016. www.ReaperCon.com I'm the coder of the site,and I *just* don't have the time to update it now.

[regarding the werearmadillo] Internally, that model was labeled as a Were-Texan.

@DMSiles, I am certain that the Post project updates will be chock full of scale photos with Sir Forscale and will run pretty darn good gamut of nearly everything
@Bryan: The Further Adventures of Sir ForScale?
@DSM - precisely.

Answers to questions regarding stretch goals/core set:

@Michael Lawler - Victoria Lamb's model which has been teased upon Victoria Miniature's Facebook page will be a goal at a future time during this project, yes.

@Reaper - I've been curious about a couple things. [/size]
- Have there been any Stretch Goals that you've switched from a Core Add-on to a Pay Option or vice-versa?
- And were there any stretch goals in the first couple kickstarters that you had waiting in the wings that you weren't able to reveal because the funding didn't meet the requirements?

@james - No. We are pretty careful about deciding what goes in which category. Yes, In Bones I we had Khanjira planned but did not make it, for example.

Anyone know if the Frost Giants deal contains one or both of the models shown??
@Leoncoeur - Both Giants for that price.

@Reaper are the miniatures at different scales on the expansion set? The sizing looks very irregular and I am struggling to work out how big stuff actually is.
@Becky Rose - for the most part they are not in purely scale with each other. they're close, but not exact.

A question about the STONE SKULL EXPANSION. Will the 3 stretch goals be a single set (via core set) with more unlocking with higher pledge count or will it be separate for each newly reached goal? (+50 for each one?)
@Brandon Demers - no, you will not need to add $50 foreach stretch Goal. Just as the Core Set Grows with each new goal that is assigned to it, so the Stoneskull Expansion grows. $50 one time, and you will get everything that is unlocked to go in that set.

@Stuart - 2 more times we will add new models to the StoneSkull Expansion. In this way it functions like the Core Set, only the Core set has more than 2 more goals to grow.

@reaper have you already decided whats in Expansion 1 or are you still thinkin about it?
@Bane - We know what's going in it.

Does anyone know if they randomly threw in surprise goals like the weapons in the previous two Kickstarters?
@Alexander Bortz - Yes. We have done it before in Bones II. We did not do it in Bones I, but we were still experimenting with the form

@Kyle Bentley - When we reveal the second part of StoneSkull, it will be presented with another goal, also. There was no intent to pair the initial unlock.

I can't wait to see what else is in the Stoneskull Expansion! I really like the themed approach Reaper has taken with it.
@Magnus, Ron gets the credit for that. And the other expansions are even cooler!

@Reaper: Are any of the model's going to be limited to a certain number of people?
@Ashlen Howard: No, we do not do that. Other companies have done such things, but we can scale UP production to meet any demand. Even in Bones I which had double this number of backers, we did not limit rewards. Rest assured, you will not miss out on the opportunity to order any of the rewards offered

Answers to questions about specific models:

Hello reaper... just to know.... if a Tiam...not apear in bones one day ... how many parts should be needed for such a model?
@Olivia - the green was at least 9 parts, I do not know how many parts the final model will be, as the mold makers sometimes require cuts in places we did not anticipate.

@Bryan: Pardon me if this was already asked, but does the Mystic Circle still come with the altar stone like in this pic?
https://media.8ch.net/tg/src/1436889839809.jpg

@B. Barletta - no, the Altar stone will be presented later with something else.

@Brian Any chance for a warewolf? A werewolf merchant?
@AJ - Chances are a non zero integer for the Warewolf

@Reaper - is the Brain in a Jar going to be four pieces?
@Talae - Legs, Base, Top, Brain, Clear Jar. 5 pieces?
But @Talae, be aware that our engineers may alter that to fit the unique properties of their molds. This is not a promise to do exactly 5 pieces.

Behir = pieces or assembled?
@Legion - Most likely in pieces.

is [brain in a jar] just open faced? I thought the whole brain would be surrounded by clear bones with a cap on top.
@Decoyfate - it is not open faced, but the prototype is opaque so we left 1/2 of the "jar" off for photographs. The jar itself will be a clear cylinder, probably in 2 halves.
@John both sides will be clear on the final jar.

So, is that brain actually, you know, the size of a brain? Because it looks like it's 3" in diameter in scale.
@Ravendas, no it is not the size of a brain of a 28mm miniature. the jar is just shy 1" diameter.

@Reaper: 2 Questions:
1. Is the Jar for the Brain water-tight?
2. Any different bodies planned for the brain-in-a-jar? This one looks quadrupedal, maybe a bipedal one, or a flying one?

@DSM - no. it is actually tripodal.

The goblins in the expansion...they aren't goblins, are they? I viewed them as gremlins or mites.
@Michael hill - they are gremlins. Smaller than the typical Goblin. Possibly goblin babies?

@Reaper Is the minotaur large size?
@Marvin - yes.

@reaper: Do you know if there are any plans for more gremlins?
@Eric Butler - Probably not more than these 4 in this project.

@Reaper - Twig Blight @ retail; solo or 2 or 3?
@Baphomet - At this time, I cannot answer that question. We do not finalize our Retail plans for all product until we have seen our mold layout for print run planning.

@Bryan
Is the matriarch still a medium scale? She looks pushing the edge of medium/large

@AJ - She's large. 1.5" to top of the head

@Alice - the blacksmith is a female elf.

Any chance of http://www.wingedscarab.com/Moose.jpg in Bonesium?
@Aryanun - there is a non zero chance.

Answers to frequently asked questions:

@Shalie - we're doing about what was expected. Some of our backers are disappointed with the current pace, but we are pleased.
@Reaper: and if you were not pleased, would you tell us?
@Weresheep - probably. I mean, there's no point in hiding that. But really everything over $1,000,000 almost to much to wish for, really. We PLAN for more, but we don't have so much hubris as to think we deserve wild high totals or it's owed to us or anything like that.

@Michael, it helps to understand WHY people get angry at us. It boils down to: they are excited, and disappointed that the deal isn't AS good as it could be, or AS perfect for their individual needs. And while we TOTALLY get it, we have a bigger picture to look at than what any single backer needs, we have a product line to support AND over 9,500 people to please. So it takes some patience, but really the irony is they're usually angry because they LIKE us, so we see our jobs as to try not to damage that like, which has already been damaged by whichever specific issue causes anger. Sometimes it's "too much sci fi" or "too many dragons" or "not enough kobolds" or "shipping or taxes are outrageous" or sometimes just "I hate plastic and bendy is for LooZORS!". Either way, we'll never win them back to happy with anger, or bitterness.

@Michael - oh yes, the subject of "what are they happy about/complaining about" is a daily topic in our meetings. We do our best to address both.

Can I exchange my weapons for some thing else.
@Timothy Davis - No. Core sets cannot be Exchanged. This is not buffet, it is a package deal.

@Reaper regarding shipping: if I pledge X now and it guesstimates that shipping will cost Y, will Y increase to Z as more freebies are added on or is there a base estimate for the sets (core, expansions...)?
@Keith - the Expansions and Core are Estimated today at their final weight, and their weight does not increase as they grow.

@Matt - videos are being made this week, for release as soon as they are edited.

@Sal - Double meant that there were two rewards unlocked at the same time, not that we doubled the contents of the core set. Literally it was a "Double Reward" meaning two rewards.

I appreciate the cool add-ons, but what you get in the core is under-whelming compared to Bones 1 & 2.
@Richard Whitney - you are also comparing the project on day 8 to what it looked like in the past after over $3 million had been raised. We just can't grow it to the same size with just over $1,116,000

@Donald Ritchie - we will not be making sub-sets of the Expansion available at this time. You will be able to get additional copies of specific models you like at retail after fulfillment ends.

I do not recall for sure, but in the last Ks were the expansions sold as all or nothing?  In other words, were they broken up individually?
@DWM - they were not broken up. All models in the expansion are available only in the expansion and not as sub groups.

Can pay for the core set, then after the project end, pay more and get the expansion?
@Christopher Benitez Bonilla - yes, you may. Be aware that funds added after the project ends do not help unlock stretch goals.

Super awesome information!

could you tell us if there will be other expansion sets or are you keeping it to one this time?
@Decoyfate, others are planned, yes

Huzzah!

What is it about bases? I get an email and I have to think, do I need more bases? I have a drawer full from the last KS when I bought extra. But I feel like you can always use more bases.... and I like the Reaper ones for basic bases to do whatever with.

I'm betting the mystery sculpt is a wyvern.  It's a classic fantasy beast that fits most, if not all of the hints.  Its affinity with insects would be its stinger.

My guess is wishful thinking.  I need so many wyverns for Hoard of the Dragon Queen, and they're so expensive in metal!

Wyvern was going to be my guess but everything I read showed meat eaters.  I so nothing that would put them in the omni world. Oh and this little thing kinda threw it out of the running for me. "Size/Type:     Large Dragon".

I don't have any of the old monster manuals.  But I bet it was listed as a beast in one of them!

Omnivore is just a red herring.  Of course it CAN eat vegetables.  Doesn't mean it LIKES them.

I really, really want a wyvern.  Ron could tell us the monster's name starts with a P and I would still try and find a way to believe he was talking about a wyvern.

It might be a Wyvern,

However I kinda hopes it is a Roc... Big Bird, can eat all it wants. Including insects?

I really do not need them, but I think it's smart of Reaper to include them in the core set so newcomers have a whole batch of fresh bases right there when they dig into their first Box o' Bones.

I definitely dont need more bases, but i totally agree with them adding them to the core.. its killing me knowing whats out there and that we haven't gotten to them yet.. guessing the new worm might be in the Skullstone expansion

Also mentioned last night from Ron: The dragon who's name starts with M will be revealed in the last 24 hours or maybe a bit sooner to build excitement..

Yeah, they are a great add on, even though I don't "need" them I may have to add some of the larger ones since I feel like I don't always have ones for bigger monsters.

But if you are getting core and new to the hobby having bases is a must.
